Hello Everynyan! Welcome to the thirtieth instalment in the Lost Tower Forum's new weekly series of polls!

Centered around the Pokemon series of video games, these polls will be based on the various different aspects of the popular video game franchise. Every Monday, a Video Games staff member will post a new poll that'll remained stickied up on top of the forum. Suggestions for polls and questions can be sent to Joshawott or Zeb and they could possibly used for new polls (credit will be given, of course).

With that out of the way, here is the poll: Did you use the TMs? With TMs not being infinitely reusable in Gens prior to Gen V, choosing to use that oh-so rare TM might have been a hard choice, and so might have been what pokemon to teach it to! Or you might have even wanted to hoard them as a collection! So did you choose to take the hard fight without the TMs? Or could you just not resist teaching your pokemon some epic moves?

Some of the best moves are on TMs! I used them, but only on Pokemon that I knew wouldn't get boxed.
 
I tended to be very frugal with the TMs that were non-replenishable, only using them on Pokemon that I knew would get a use out of it and couldn't learn it any other way. Otherwise, most remained unused.
 
Personally, I was hesitant to use them. Even on competitive Pokémon, I was always twiddling my thumbs about whether or not I would need to use the TM on a better Pokémon.
 
I voted yes, but I was extremely careful with most of them, many never got used at all because I was so cautious. I usually only used up the TMs I could repurchase, or the more useless TM moves with little use in competitive battles.
 
Yes, however I only used a few because I only really needed a few of them. I tend to stick with the same team for the entire game, so I don't need that many TMs.
 
Yes, indeed. What good is an item if you don't use it?
 
In the first three generations, I used TM's on rare occasion.

Ice Punch for Feraligatr, Shadow Ball for Togetic, Shock Wave for Aggron (lol), Earthquake/Rock Slide for appropriate Pokemon, etc. I'd use maybe three or four TM's in a playthrough.
 
Yep. I always used the Pokémon-cloning glitch to replicate TM's. XD
 
Yes I did use them, but only on Pokemon that I knew needed the move and would keep it forever. Otherwise I would save it until I had a use for it and yes I did make some tough decisions, which sometimes were the wrong ones.
 
I did when I migrated from Gen IV to V. Any Pokemon with less than four moves or needed an HM replaced, I used one.
 
I used them. I mean, there were a lot of good moves in TMs!

I will admit to having a collection of them on Diamond. Very handy for when I transfer!
 
I was always the kind who would hoard the TMs and never used them, I did use them sometimes.
 
I keep TMs that are available only once in the game, and I'd use TMs that are easily available.
 
I only used TMs that could be bought in stores or at the Battle Frontier for BP. Most of TMs were useless anyway.
 
Yes, but only certain ones. Shadow Ball is one of my favorites.

Now that they aren't single-use anymore, I still don't know what to do with myself.
