Who likes Lucario.
I mean he's amazing
if you like him
write in here if you don't tell us why
go on

I thought he was cool when I saw Riley use him in Diamond, then again when I watched the 8th movie. Plus, he's not one of my mains, but I still like using him in Brawl.

Both my Diamond and Platinum Rilou eggs came out female. Someday I'll get around to breeding one with Blaze Kick.

I love Lucario. They're cool looking without looking awkward, they're powerful, the ones in the anime have cool personalities, they're martial artists like me, they're extremely flexible (as in their learn set, but I suppose they're also pretty physically flexible too). Also they're anthropomorphs!

Hmm... Yeah, I think Lucario's also cool-looking and a good battler. Haven't really trained one seriously, but I was meaning to make it a member of one of my future teams.

My sister, cousin and I also have this running joke among ourselves that Lucario's a wannabe Legendary and always trying hard too be considered one, but that's a different topic, heheh...

Lucario is a pretty good pokemon. He hasn't let me down on my diamond version yet. Him, Torterra and Luxray are what got me through the pokemon league.

I had a period of time where I despised Lucario, simply because he was Mewtwo's replacement in Brawl (no one argue that because it is true).

Nowadays, I can stand him. Don't use one anyways.

I can. You know how Jigglypuff was the rep for gen 1, Pichu gen 2, and now Lucario gen 4? These are the current generations at the time of release. Lucario literally replaced Pichu.

Also, you know how Mewtwo was really nastalgic for the fans due to his popularity in first gen? I think Pokemon trainer (with his Charizard mainly) replaced Mewtwo as the nastalgia rep.

Never say no one can argue, because someone will find a way. Anyway, I went off topic. So to make this post relevent, I am using a Lucario on my playthrough of Platinum. He made the ice gym so easy.

Eh, it is kind of weak that Mewtwo wasn't in Brawl, but I see Lucario as a welcome replacement. To put it bluntly, Mewtwo pretty much sucked, and Lucario is decent fighter. Granted they could have just kept Mewtwo and fixed him a little bit, but Lucario is still a pretty epic pokemon. Plus his Aura Sphere makes a lot more sense then Mewtwo's ball of dark psychic whatever.

That is a little bit contrived, but I suppose you could make that argument. However, you can't argue the fact the Lucario literally has the exact same moves as Mewtwo did. It's pretty obvious to anyone who has played the game that he was Mewtwo's direct replacement.

As for the topic, yeah Lucario is pretty awesome. He might be my favorite fourth gen pokemon, and I love to use him in Brawl. I recently got a shiny Riolu in game, but I think Lucario is one of the few pokemon who's regular colors look better then his shiny ones.

It's Shadow Ball, so that still makes some sense.

Lucario was Mewtwo's replacement, but no one should ever call him a "clone." That'd be dumb.

I've got one as part of my team in Platinum. It's probably the best Pokémon on said team. I made a point of varying its movepool, and it pays off well. I also frequently Brawl as Lucario, but he's not one of my mains.

Ok, I guess it does make sense since it's pretty much his main move in the movie.

I feel like a hypocrite. I said earlier that I don't like Lucario, yet I make a new sig with my steel team (am doing a different type for every month until HGSS) and what do I have? Lucario.

I just love Steel type because they make great tanks.

Except Lucario, who's a bit fragile. Especially if it's a mixed sweeper, meaning it needs a negative nature in one defense stat, and can't afford any EVs in either.

I've never used a lucario, but I'm planning on getting on in my current game on Diamond.
