Luvdisc and Heart Scales?

On bulbapedia, Luvdisc's page indicates that it does not hold Heart Scales when caught in the wild. However, in the novelty Pokemon page it says it can. I've caught a couple of Luvdisc in my Emerald game, but none of them have had Heart Scales. Can they or can't they hold them in the wild?
 
It's possible. You're just unlucky. There's a Simple Questions thread. (I'm not a mod here, I'm just giving advice)
 
Luvdisc can hold Heart Scales in the wild... I don't know why Luvdisc's page doesn't have a held item chart on it...
 
I've used Covet on Luvdisc and stolen Heart Scales from them.
