Mere hours after Japan revealed a series of new cards for the upcoming Collection X and Collection Y expansion in Japan, the English official site reveals M Blastoise-EX, M Venusaur-EX, Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja for their English release on Feb. 5th, 2014. Mirroring the Japanese Mega Evolutions, the English cards feature Japanese text throughout the card artwork. Mega Evolving a Pokémon ends your turn.

Mega Blastoise EX can certainly hit hard. It might be especially terrifying if you can get Mr. Mime out of the way.

Mega Venusaur EX looks like something that could seriously take advantage of Virbank Gym, and if the opponent doesn't have Switch, Keldeo EX, or Virizion EX, they're in deep trouble.

Chesnaught can be kinda stubborn with that bit of healing from Touchdown, and Spiky Shield can be seriously irritating, especially in tandem with a Rock Guard.

Delphox's Ability looks wonderful for keeping good cards in your hand; you get a free Bianca without using your Supporter for the turn. And its Blaze Ball loks like it functions similarly to Keldeo EX's Secret Sword; all you really need here is Inferno Fandango Emboar. XD

Greninja can be useful even if it isn't your Active Pokémon, thanks to Water Shuriken. Not even your Benched Pokémon are safe from it. Sadly, it needs to sacrifice Water Energy, but still.
