Japanese Movie Two: "Revelation Lugia"
American Movie Two: "The Power of One"
With that legend, Jirarudan sets off to the Orange Islands in an attempt to awaken the God of the Sea (psst...here's a hint...it's Lugia). See Satoshi get kissed by some strange island girl, Kasumi walk around in something other than her same old shorts and shirt, and see Kenji in his first non-cameo big screen adventure.
This is the review thread for "Pokémon The Movie 2000," airing tonight, November 14th, at 8:05pm ET on Cartoon Network. It is the second of three Pokémon movies being aired by the network this month, so those of you who never got to see it on theatres or on HBO are in luck. I realize that many of you have already seen this movie before, but since this is the basic cable premiere of these movies (and since I'm sure a number of us haven't seen it in a while) I decided to create this review thread.
If you can't see the movie tongiht, then don't worry--the movie will air again on Saturday, November 22nd (that's next Saturday), at 5:00pm ET and again on Sunday the 23rd at 10:00am ET. For these two airings, the film will be shown under the "Cartoon Network Cartoon Theater" name, so they should show the mini-movie "Pikachu's Rescue Adventure" as well.
Next week: Pokémon 3 the Movie
American Movie Two: "The Power of One"
"Disturb not the Titans of Fire, Ice, or Lightning
Lest these Titans wreak destruction
Upon the world in which they clash
Though the water's Great Guardian may arise to quell the fighting
Alone its song shall fail
Lest the world turn to ash
O Chosen One
Into thine hands bring together all three
The treasures combined bring the Beast of The Sea"

Upon the world in which they clash
Though the water's Great Guardian may arise to quell the fighting
Alone its song shall fail
Lest the world turn to ash

Into thine hands bring together all three
