Why now? Because it's airing today on Cartoon Network!

So...I suppose you expect a Dogasu-style summary. OK...hmm...

"Ash and friends find a mysterious boy in the woods, brought from 40 years in the past by Celebi. Will their combined strength be enough to overcome the fearsome Iron Mask Marauder and his Dark Pokémon?"

There. Or to put it the way the TV preview does, "Hunters and forest predators pursue a flying creature that can travel though time".

...the heck?

I still haven't seen it in English yet. Although I intend to remedy that today. Dan Green may be overworked, but he *has* to be able to out-psycho-laugh Shiro Sano.

Why does everyone call him ugly? He's average-looking if anything.

And yes, Dan Green out-laughed Shiro Sano. With a mediocre laugh, too. Sano, that's just pathetic.

I'm starting to warm to Green in this role. Which is probably only because he hasn't had to do any shouting yet at the part I'm at.

Although I still would have prefered Derek Steven Prince.

This was a good one, I don't know why everyone's complaining. And how can you not love the art? I mean come on, that first scene alone was gorgeous!

The CGI was horrible, though. I suggest putting the animators back in computer school until they can successfully draw a breaking branch that actually looks like it's made out of wood.

Wow. How I long for the days when Dan Green could act. That was awesome. Although would it kill them to have an actual evil villian that doesn't get defeated in the most humiliating way possible? I think that's only happened twice--Bashou and Buson's 'tactical retreat' and Shiranui getting out while the getting was good in the Red Gyarados arc.

......I want to write Execshipping. Seriously now.

Say...on my Japanese tape, Sammy's eyes are purple. In this they were blue. Is my tape distorting colors or was there another weird change like all that stuff in the Deoxys movie?

Apparently, like with Heroes, they used a color filter to change the look of the movie, only Heroes was heavier (and worse) with that use.

It didn't look all that different, though. I only noticed it in one other place, and that was when Tyranitar is blowing up the Hunter's camp. There was a shot where it was all dark and I know it wasn't dark in the original. But everything else seemed spot on save for Sammy's eyes.

I completely forgot that this movie came on yesterday. Thanks for making this thread, Blackjack.

Encore airings are as follows:

Saturday, May 21st - 5:00pm
Sunday, May 22nd - 5:00pm
Friday, May 27th - 3:00pm

I personally think this is a great movie. Honestly, the scene with the Butterfree, the scene with the Celebi coming from other times, and the scene where Professor Oak hints at being Sammy made me cry.

As for action, I loved the scene where Celebi attacked its friends, the battle with Sneasel and Scizor, Onix actually battling, and when Mask ruins thew happiness of the revival scene when he pops out of the water.

By the way, does anyone have a small audio clip of the Japanese ending song, its the only one I haven't heard. And I personally think the English ending is pretty good. XD.

There were two good points about this movie:

A) The battle in the middle to protect Celebi
B) The fact it FINALLY ended.... -_-

This movie was slow, uninteresting and with a plot you really couldn't care for most of the time. The only truely sad part was Celebi's almost dying. And you have to really consider from that scene alone why the Celebi from all different times didn't bother coming to help earlier.

It would have saved us all the trouble of sitting watching an otherwise completely boring movie. Not even Team Rocket could save it with them having about 2 good jokes in the entire thing - despite this being one of the more TR heavy movies.

The music was meh but Suicune's existence in the movie was EXTREMELY trying. The 'purify the water' crap felt almost forced in just to showcase Suicune - obviously not wanting to be stood up by it's companions who had gotten a movie and special to their names.

4Ever is definitely one of the worst Pokemon movies there is, and the DVD 'commentary' didn't do much for me wanting to like it either - quite possibly the worst 'commentary' i've ever heard. It was more an interview and it barely lasted half the movie.

I feel sorry for the few that havn't seen it yet being eager to watch it on American Cartoon Network and then being let down completely.

*Waits around for the much better Heroes DVD release sometime next month*

Didn't the new host of CN Fridays, Tara Sands (or Jayne) do some voices on Pokemon for the first season episodes? *checks Voice Chasers* Yeah, it says she did, but then again, it also says she did the voice of Sammy in 4Ever... and we *know* that was Lisa Ortiz.

Are you sure it was Lisa? Sammy sounded identical to Mokuba from Yugioh, and that's Tara Jayne.

There was a Suicune. That made me happy.

BUT ASH GOT TO RIDE SUICUNE. WTF. I'd bet my own ass that if Eusine found out, we'd find Ash stapled to the side of Ecruteak Gym with a large array of bullet holes through his face. >__> TAKING BETS NOW PLZ

And now to go off and be a total whore to my friends again. Ta~

Of course. XD Otherwise it'd be no fun.

"Look, it's Suicune!" ".....o___0 Wtf?" "*POW*"

As opposed to....

"....look, Suicune!" "HOW DARE YOU TRY AND PULL THAT WITH ME, YOU CANNOT LIE ABOUT THE MAJESTIC SUICUNE! *foam*" ".....o___o;; Wtf."

I'm in the states and I still missed the movie, damnit! I haven't seen it yet. >:O
