The English dub is airing on Cartoon Network Australia at 6:00pm on November 6th. It's airing on Cartoon Network USA on November 20th, presumably at 8:00pm.

This is the first time an English dub of a movie has aired on TV before the Japanese DVD has been released. Therefore, this will be the first time fans outside of Japan will be able to see this movie.

Anyway, discuss away!

Damn it, why does CN Australia always run about 5 minutes behind schedule? At least it's just Ben 10 Alien Force, so I don't have to endure another episode of TWF waiting for Pokemon to start.

EDIT: The movie's been letterboxed, so the cropping isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Opening theme = extended version of Stand Up! Same singer, same style, but actually has new lyrics.

Where was Sheena in the last movie? She could've come in handy.

OMG Kevin said death!

Arkeyus's voice... I wasn't a big fan of the Japanese one from what I heard in the trailer, but it just sounds stupid.

Arceus is laying some serious punishment, or more accurately, JUSTICE!!! >=O

Lol at Pikachu being more effective than Dialga and Palkia combined.

Ash: "They're falling!" Good pick-up, Ash.

Palkia really doesn't get much time to shine.

Something about Heatran seems strangely unlegendaryish.

Marcus... what a badass.

Why would Piplup try joining tails with Pichu? It probably wasn't going to end well.

It's Yami-Damos!

I didn't notice Sheena's horrible eyebrows until the exchange between her and Marcus.

Where's Totodile?

Oh look, Damos can do the same thing Sheena can.

The plates are certainly a lot bigger than the ones Saturn was using in Solaceon Town.

Arkeyus's voice is a lot less crappy when it's not angry.

Wow, that shrine must've been a bitch to build.

Oh, there's Totodile!

Jessie has teh lifez jewel!!!!!

*Gasp* It was Marcus all along!!

Sheena's eyebrows are really distracting. It's called a razor, woman!

Oh wow, Sudowoodo did something.

Yeah Ash, I'm sure he's going to give it back because you tell him.

Seriously writers, way to cheapen Heatran like that.

Oh look, it's Dawn and Piplup. I guess Ash can't be the only star this time.

Almost, Chikorita.

Wow, Ash... it's not like it's going to break if it falls.

You're not going anywhere, Marcus.

Arkeyus looks pissed.

ASH SAID DIE! IT'S THE APOCALYPSE!

Yay, Arkeyus is alive!

Wow, Marcus is quite the pessimist.

Oooooh, shiny.

Yay, happy ending!

Why would Arkeyus still have come back now that they've altered history?

Oh well, at least it undestroyed everything for them. So it wasn't a complete waste.

Oh look, the random trainers from the start of the movie.

Aww, no more jewel for Jessie.

It's sunny... that must mean everything's good.

Oh look, a happy message.

Wow, Kevin didn't really do a heck of a lot.

Bye giant Pokemon!

Ooooh, messages from the past.

Arkeyus understands it's part of a great world... how nice.

Well that was a fun trilogy. Let's do it again some time.

Can't read the credits... they're way too squashed up.

Now I can see them. So that's what happened to Marcus.

Ending song is your standard inspirational crap.

Oh look, it's Darkrai and all the characters from the other movies.

Oh, Shaymin too.

I don't see Newton and Zero being friends like that.

Now they're playing the movie 11 ending song.

Now some other song... probably from movie 10.

Really? from what I heard I thought the movie was mainly focused on Ash and that made me sad, as I liked how movie 10 had Ash and Dawn as totally equal and play the "save the day" thing together (and movie 11 also made them pretty equal, maybe Ash got a little more at the end but for most of the movie they're equal)

Dawn got to keep Marcus from escaping while Ash gave the jewel back.

Brock did nothing.

I wouldn't say Dawn's part at the end was quite as important as Ash's... but she got to command the Johto starters and a whole bunch of Rattata. Whereas Brock just stood behind Sheena and Damos watching them stop all of the slave Pokemon from attacking Arceus with their mind-control powers.

I thought Marcus died in the tumbling cave-building fall because he did a scream in pain (or shock) and we see his crown on the ground which is usually a subtle clue for these things but in the credits we find out he was alive and helping Damos cultivate the fields which is alright, I guess.

The scene of pikachu and everyone else fading away forever was pretty sad. Little kids would probably be saddened by it.

I happen to like Arceus's voice, it has this Doctor Who Time Lord vibe which is pretty neat. The pronounciation of it fits in pretty well and it wasn't as noticable as I thought it would be.

I like how they're showing it before the japanese release of the dvds so people can come up with their own opinion of the english version by itself and not comparing it to the japanese version.

It was a fitting end to a trilogy! I ended up only seeing the ending half because I forgot about it airing. >.< The half I did see was suitably epic and the scenes looked amazing! Music was enjoyable too. I wish Cartoon Network wouldn't shrink the credits so much though. I liked that dig they made at themselves "These chimps got this blockbuster for a steal" which was referring to Jumunji.

ASH SAYS DIE! Some of you people will probably be happy with that, I guess.

Kevin is a shallow love interest!

Am I the only one who noticed that there was some sort chemistry between Damos and Sheena? Which is pretty weird considering the fact that they're related. (By hundreds of centuries, but still)

Oh, this just sounds amazing and fantastic. Great news!
I absolutely want to watch this epic movie as soon as possible!

Oooh, didn't notice it the first time because it was just a brief growl, but Manectric keeps its Japanese voice.

Just curious, but how good was the song?

Probably the only good thing about a early airing.

He did say it in movies 4 and 8, y'know...

But now that I think about it, the 4-movie pattern for the word is pretty odd...

Wait, were they part of the credits, or just something AUS did? Because if they cut the new song down just to reuse credit songs, that'd be cheap AND lame.

That ought to be nice, but really, it just reeks of inconsistency...

It was the actual credits, however most of the movie 12 song was cut off by ads for Jumanji and Ben 10. It was still about 3 minutes long, though. After that song finished, there were 30 second clips (or so) of the movie 10 and 11 credits songs.

Just curious, but how good was the song?

If you liked the season 12 OP version, you'll love this one. The instrumental loop played on the US Movie site is in fact an instrumental interlude in the song. It's in the same vein as the movie 8 opening.

EDIT: CN Australia doesn't support closed captioning (hopeless, I know) so save your breath if you wanted to know the names of the kids in the tag battle.

I have to agree with what Dogasu said when he first saw it. It's not really all that great because the manga was so spot on to the movie. It felt like I had already seen it before.

Still, it was quite enjoyable, annoying Rockets aside. The movies sure would be a lot better if they didn't have to force the TRio in.

It isn't so bad they get shoehorned in the movie. They don't get that much screentime anyway so it isn't much of a problem. Now if they actually do something important...

The writers really have no clue what to do with Brock and Team Rocket in the movies.

Its been like this for the last dozen or so movies now. They're all focused on Ash, the movie characters, and secondly whatever Misty/May/Dawn do in the movie. And that usually isn't much at all, since Ash hogs all the spotlight.

ROLF Brock just stands on the side rooting like a cheerleader how sad. I love how Ash is always the star, he is the main character ^^
