Okay, so the Katana eventually does bite it, but....isn't it amazing that, not only did it survive the first 6 bullets, but it also split them? If those bullets weren't all hitting the same general area, I wonder how much longer it might have lasted.

Of course, given how many bullets would be put out a minute...even the best swordsmaster wouldn't be able to use that to parry a gun I don't think. Pity. ^^;

Seriously...and it seemed like (and must have been) a very good blade, too. :/ But..that was more of a cannon than a machine gun; it was kind of unfair. :p

I believe it was the same sword they used for the Katana Vs. Handgun round a while back (which, incidently, the Katana won). It was at the very least of the same make. It wouldn't have been an ancestral blade or anything, most likely something specifically made for the tests.
