Have you ever made up rules for battles?

For example, my friend and I do battles like eeveelution battles or yellow pokemon battles.

What battles do you do?

Monotype tournaments. Some friends and I draw a type
out of a hat then we have a week to train a team of Pokemon who all share that type, then we have a bracket-style tournament. Last one we played I got second using a pretty solid poison team to someone using a psychic team :[

Sounds epic.

Usually we just level cap it because my friends don't EV train, so we just battle with ingame teams. I'm working on an EV trained team that will kill their unEVed Ubers though =P.

Only mid-stage Pokemon, like Bayleef, Vigoroth etc.
Pikachu is allowed, as long as it don't have Light Ball.
