Hello everyone! People of the War Room and our lovely Situation Room! On behalf of all TWR Staff, I would like to convey this message brought to us by none else than the founder of Mafia Universe and host of the annual Mafia Championship @Thingyman

INVITATION TO THE MAFIA CHAMPIONSHIP - SEASON 5

We all would like to thank him a ton for giving our community the honor of participating in the biggest mafia cross-community event ever, for yet another year!

So let us no longer wait, it's time for us to decide on our representative! And the selection process will be as followed:

- This thread will first undergo a nomination phase that will end at 11:59 PM CEST on Sunday, April 29th.
- Everybody can nominate themselves, but nominations must be seconded by another user, and can be diffused by the nominated user at any point if they so desire. There will be a list of the people who are not interested below.
- After the nomination phase is over, a poll will be created with all the nominees in it. Each player can give up to 2 votes; at 11:59 AM CEST on Wednesday, May 2nd, the poll will close and the highest scorer will be our nominee, with the second-highest being the backup replacement.
- Only people who have played at least one completed mafia game from "Werewolves - A simple game of mafia" onwards are eligible to participate or vote. Bulbagarden needs to be your homesite. You should also read the text in the link.

Listing myself as Not Interested. Being retired from mafia, let alone a former TWR representative in the Championship, I'd much rather let someone else enjoy the experience.
Having been a rep before, I advise whoever is nominated to enjoy it to their heart's content but also be a bit careful about the high levels of activity.

Best of luck to whoever's giving a shot at a nomination! WE'll be rooting for you, make TWR proud! :)
 
Hi guys

I'm going on a short vacation tomorrow. Will be back Sunday, April 29.

As for the deadline for choosing a representative (or someone volunteering themselves), I am extending this by a couple of days to May 3.

When/if your representative is decided, that person should please either PM me on Mafia Universe or reach me on Discord: Thingyman#6075. During evenings I will quickly check messages and get them the information they need to prepare for the game.
 
So I've been thinking about this for a while, and as honoured as I am to be nominated. I just don't think I'll have the required time needed to undertake this given my internship and preperation for Japan.
So I would like to remove myself from the nominees.

Do you wish to spectate?
We have a big chat on Discord (700+ members) for those that want to spectate and talk about these games. The representatives will be added to this channel too after they die. Or if you just want to chat with people from other communities, we have a general chat too that is unrelated to the Mafia Championship.

1) CLICK HERE TO JOIN: Discord - Free voice and text chat for gamers

2) Tag one of the red or blue people in the chat (write @Thingyman] or @staff for example), let them know who you are and from what community, and they'll give you the necessary permissions to see the spectator channel. This is necessary to avoid the wrong people (the representatives and their backups) joining the channel.

You don't need to have Discord installed in order to join the channel, as there is a web version.

Do you want to have your own private community spectator chat?
This is definitely both allowed and encouraged. However, I ask that you please do everything possible to make this chat private and inaccessible to your representative, backup and your representative's opponents. It's important that your thoughts and comments don't influence the game. In other words, please don't post about the game in public threads -- this is very important.

Is this possible on our TWR Discord? Or does Elieson being a mod make this impossible?
