Hey everyone, just got back into making a team again and I decided to base a new team around the changed mechanics of the wish move. For those of you who don't know, wish has changed from healing 50% of the recipient's HP, to healing 50% of the USER'S HP. The first things that popped in my head were Blissey and Jirachi, two of the most annoying pokemon in OU that not only had great HP stats but access to wish. So that's what my team revolves around! Feel free to suggest anything and criticize (it can't be THAT bad right?)
Lead/Special Sweeper
( :lx212: + :lx137: ) Y U NO HAVE UNOVA SPRITES
Genesect @Choice Scarf
Ability
ownload
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
Evs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Atk
- U-Turn
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
Genesect is great for starting the fight. While team preview can ruin some of the fun it can have, Genesect still wrecks havoc on anything that underestimates its crazy speed with great boltbeam coverage and flamethrower to tie it off, hitting almost everything at least for neutral damage, and also takes care of most of the threats for the rest of the team. If Genesect can't handle it, then it uses STAB U-Turn to hit pretty hard and switch to something that can. If he can get a KO in the first couple turns, great. If not, I try to switch Genesect out pretty early to save him for later to deal with the bigger threats to the rest of team.
Wish Support/Status/Special Wall/The Whole Reason I made This Team

Jirachi @Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
Evs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Atk
-Iron Head
-Body Slam
-Wish
-Stealth Rock/Fire Punch
Jirachi is the entire reason I made this set. With only two weaknesses, 60% paralysis chance with Body Slam, high chance of flinching with Iron Head, the ability to take some of the strongest special attacks in the tier (a little over 1/3 from Timid Choice Specs Latios' Draco Meteor, Dnite's worst nightmare), a nice bulky 200 HP Wish, and the ability to lay down rocks or cause burns just makes everyone cringe when this guy comes into play. The ability to paralyze gives Dragonite a huge break even after his DDance boost (explained later) and it also relieves the pressure for Genesect, Starmie, and Gengar, whose major threats are anything that can outspeed them. Jirachi's ability to tank combined with a nice wish support is what this entire team revolves around, and the ability to switch is very crucial for the entire team (Starmie's RS saves lives) but also a lot of the team forces switches on the other side as well, which is why Jirachi has Stealth Rock. Fire Punch could also be used to counter Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Forretress, but I think Stealth Rock is a little more important and Dragonite takes care of them.

Dragonite @Leftovers
Ability:Multiscale
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Hp
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Claw
-Fire Punch
-Earthquake/Roost
This guy and Jirachi together shut everything down. They're just begging to be on the same team together! Dragonite can come in on predicted attacks aimed at the rest of the team (Fire/Ground: Jirachi/Genesect, Fighting: Blissey, Grass: Starmie) and lay down DDance. Even with the little beta testing I've done with this team so far, Dragonite attracts Scizor, Skarmory, Genesect, Ferrothorn, and Forretress (who can all wall Jirachi) after the DDance, because they think they're going to get a resisted Outrage lock while they can set up entry hazards/sweep. Instead, they get a resisted Dragon Claw and don't realize that Dragonite also carries Fire Punch. Annihilation. Dragonite also switches straight into Jirachi's walls and does fine as they really can't do much to hurt him. Additionally, Dragonite is the best wish candidate on the team so he can keep reusing Multiscale. Roost could also be used to just refill it himself, but that would get rid of Earthquake, a means of killing Heatran (who Jirachi also hates) Outrage simply isn't an option as Dragonite needs more durability from wish support than raw power. Jirachi's paralysis helps Dnite with his mediocre speed, which is still outsped by some of the faster boosted dragons. Paired together, Jirachi and Dragonite counter each others' weaknesses perfectly.
Spinner
:121:
Starmie @Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
Evs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
-Rapid Spin
-Ice Beam/Psychic/shock
-Hydro Pump
-Thunderbolt
Pretty Standard Rapid Spin Starmie. Gets rid of the entry hazards that hurt everyone utilizing the wish support (also keeps Dnite's Multiscale intact) Good STAB Hydro Pump, although I may replace it with Surf for better accuracy. Boltbeam coverage works against Starmie's counters without needing to switch to Genesect. Thunderbolt definitely stays in order to get rid of Jellicent. I was also thinking about Psychic/Psyshock over Ice Beam for STAB, Gengar, and Fighting types that beat up Blissey and Genesect, but ice beam is helpful for grass/dragon types (but Genesect already handles those like a bro) Wish benefits Starmie well after Life Orb recoil, and allows the team to keep Rapid Spin support. Natural Cure is good to keep Toxic stalling and paralysis away as well.
Wish Support/Status Support/Special Wall
:242:
Blissey @Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef
-Wish
-Heal Bell/Protect/Softboiled
-Seismic Toss
-Toxic
Blissey is basically the defensive form of Jirachi on this team. It provides a huge 325 HP heal from wish, and it doesn't have any HP investment (it doesn't need it, explained later) Toxic is for toxic stalling, Seismic Toss is for consistent damage and doesn't make blissey completely useless when taunted. I'm really caught between Heal Bell, Protect, and Softboiled on Blissey. Heal Bell heals status of the whole team, but Toxic is resisted by Genesect, Jirachi, Gengar, and Starmie and Blissey both have Natural Cure. Burns hurt Jirachi, but Jirachi is more focused on status than damage. I still keep Heal Bell because burns shut down Dragonite, and paralysis really hurts Genesect, Jirachi, Gengar (if it gets past the sub), and Dnite too. Heal Bell is definitely useful to keep the team going, but it leaves Blissey somewhat vulnerable. Protect allows Blissey to get her own wish recovery (and stall for toxic) while Softboiled lets her heal herself without waiting. Not having either one is risky, and this is the one thing that really catches me on this build.
Spinblocker/Disabler/Revenge Killer
:094:
Gengar @Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
Evs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
-Substitute
-Disable
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
Gengar is still one of my favorite pokemon out there, and I was so happy to find out that he works out great for this team. He can come out on a ground/fighting move aimed at Jirachi/Blissey (respectively) quickly disable it (given they don't switch out) switch back, and get back to stalling/wishing/humiliating. The same strategy is used for Rapid Spin! Instead of having to fend off the spinner, Gengar can just come in, resist the spin, disable it, and switch back out into something that can kill the spinner. Or Gengar can just tough it out with substitute and go to town with perfect coverage shadow Ball and Focus Blast, disabling the powerful STAB attacks that break the sub. It pisses people off, and Gengar just keeps smiling delightfully as he shuts down their strategies (did i mention how much i love Gengar?) Wish also works really well alongside Gengar's substitute, replenishing the health that the lefties can't to let Gengar keep subbing, disabling, and spinblocking.
So there's my team! It's seemed to have done pretty well on wi-fi so far, but I'm open and ready for any suggestions!
A couple of concerns i have are that I don't have a physical wall/phazer. Skarmory comes to mind, but that leaves an open weakness to fire (Heatran would eat my team for a tasty snack) Also, Magnezone goes along well with a lot of the team for trapping steels that keep switching, and can also use wish for subbing (but again, Heatran)
Other bulky wishers: Vaporeon :134: Chansey :113: Alomomola :rs183: (closest I could find) Umbreon (meh HP but can tank) :197: Latias (meh HP but can kill) :ratiosu:
Another concern is the actual viability of wish support. Do you think it'll last? It works pretty well for my team:
Jirachi's wish: 202 Hp
Genesect: 71.37%
Jirachi: 50%
Dragonite: 62.53%
Starmie: 77.39%
Blissey: 31.02%
Gengar: 77.39%
Blissey's wish: 325 Hp
Genesect: 114.84%
Jirachi: 80.44%
Dragonite: 100.61%
Starmie: 124.52%
Blissey: 50%
Gengar: 124.52%
