Make sure to catch these featured Pokémon and events coming to Pokémon GO over September 2025

Details have been released on a number of activities, bonuses, and events that will be running in-game in Pokémon GO throughout September, including this month's GO Pass, GO Pass Deluxe, and Reward Road.

September 2025's Featured Pokémon, Encounters, and Raids
The following will be available in-game during September. All Pokémon listed below with a ⁂ next to their name can also be encountered in their Shiny variants.

Pokémon Spotlight Hour
A different Pokémon and special bonus will be featured every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:

• September 2nd: Pidgey ⁂ | 2× Evolution XP
• September 9th: Trubbish ⁂ | 2× Vatch Stardust
• September 16th: Gothita ⁂ | 2× Catch XP
• September 23rd: Hoothoot ⁂ | 2× Catch Candy
• September 30th: Aron ⁂ | 2× Transfer Candy

Encounters with Pidgey and Aron during their Spotlight Hours may award Pidgeot Mega Energy and Aggron Mega Energy respectively.

Max Battles
The following Dynamax Pokémon will be appearing in Max Battles and taking over Power Spots on Mondays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:

• Sept 1st to 7th: Pidove ⁂
• Sept 8th to 14th: Trubbish ⁂
• Sept 15th to 21st: Abra ⁂
• Sept 22nd to 28th: Chansey ⁂
• Sept 29th to 30th: Beldum ⁂

Raids
Raid rotations all start and end at 10:00am local time on the dates listed unless otherwise noted.

Raid Hours
A different Pokémon will be featured every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:

• Sept 3rd: Palkia (Origin Forme) ⁂
• Sept 10th: Palkia (Origin Forme) ⁂
• Sept 17th: Mega Latias ⁂ and Mega Latios ⁂
• Sept 24th: Dialga (Origin Forme) ⁂

Palkia (Origin Forme) and Dialga (Origin Forme) may know the Charged Attack Spacial Rend and Roar of Time respectively.

Featured Five-Star Raids
The following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids:

GO Pass: September
The GO Pass offers Trainers a limited-time progression track offering a variety of ranked rewards and bonuses over a set period. Trainers will be able to rank up and complete their GO Pass by earning GO Points. GO Points for GO Pass: September can be earned between September 2nd at 10:00am local time, and October 7th at 10:00am local time. Towards the end of the pass period, from Saturday October 4th at midnight through to Sunday October 5th at 11:59pm local time, daily limits for how many GO Points can be earned will be removed, allowing Trainers an opportunity to catch up and claim all remaining rewards. All GO Pass rewards will expire on October 9th, at 10:00am local time, and must be unlocked and claimed before this time.

Rewards for GO Pass: September include an encounter with Cobalion with a Tales of Transformation-themed Special Background. This Cobalion has a chance of appearing as a Shiny. Other rewards include Stardust, XP, Max Particles, Poké Balls, and Candy, amongst other items. Trainers will also be able to unlock a set of special bonuses as they reach major individual milestones:

• Tier 1 - Rank 25
  • Open up to 40 Gifts per day.
  • Receive up to 125 Gifts per day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs.
  • Hold up to 30 Gifts in your Item Bag.
• Tier 2 - Rank 50
  • 2× Daily Adventure Incense duration
• Tier 3 - Rank 75:
  • 2× Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs.

In addition to the free GO Pass, Trainers can also upgrade to a paid version, the GO Pass Deluxe. The deluxe version of the GO Pass: September offers faster progression up the ranks, and boosted milestone bonuses:

• Tier 1 - Rank 25
  • Open up to 50 Gifts per day.
  • Receive up to 150 Gifts per day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs.
  • Hold up to 40 Gifts in your Item Bag.

The GO Pass Deluxe also grants additional rewards such as additional Pokémon encounters, the new Timed Incubator, a Super Incubator, Candy XL, and a selection of premium items, including Premium Battle Passes, Incense, an Incubator, and Lure Modules, amongst other items. Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe at any time, regardless of how far they've progressed in the GO Pass, and will receive all additional rewards from all previous rank levels that have already been unlocked. GO Pass Deluxe can be purchased either in-app or via the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$7.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). For an additional US$2 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency), Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks to be boosted directly to Rank 11. As with the regular GO Pass, GO Pass Deluxe rewards must be claimed prior to October 9th, at 10:00am local time.

The Timed Incubator is a brand new item being introduced with the GO Pass Deluxe: September. This item is a limited-time unlimited-use Incubator which Trainers can make use of from when they earn it at Rank 20, until it expires on October 14th at 10:00am local time. Please note that any Eggs placed in a Time Incubator which have not yet hatched at the time this Incubator expires will be shifted to a new single-use Incubator to finish incubating.

September Reward Road
Trainers will be able to unlock a variety of rewards over September by accumulating reward points with purchases from the Pokémon GO in-game store and the Pokémon GO Web Store. Purchases from the Pokémon GO Web Store will award double the amount of Reward Points compared to the in-game store.

Available rewards this month include:

• Level 1: 1 Razz Berry, 1 Nanab Berry
• Level 2: 1 Premium Battle Pass
• Level 3: 1 Incense, 1 Super Potion
• Level 4: 1 Lucky Egg, 1 Star Piece
• Level 5: 2 Lure Modules, 2 Hyper Potions, 5 Ultra Balls
• Level 6: 2 Incubators, 2 Incense, 2 Stickers
• Level 7: 4 Premium Battle Passes, 5 Max Potions
• Level 8: 4 Incubators, 3 Silver Pinap Berries, 3 Golden Razz Berries
• Level 9: 4 Premium Battle Passes, 4 Incubators
• Level 10: 6 Premium Battle Passes, 6 Incubators, 1 Star Piece

These September Reward Road rewards will be available until September 30th, at 11:59pm (UTC), when all Reward Points and Reward Road levels will reset.
