Does anyone else BELIEVE?!?!?!? I know Evil Ash only was there for about one episode, but the two of them are just so awesome! I mean, Evil Ash forever lives on inside of Ash, in my belief, and I might be going a little overboard, but this shipping ROX!!!!

Note: This shipping does NOT make Ash narcisstic, don't even bring it up.

PICS!!!

Oh wow I feel bad for the non-evil Ash he looks sick

malevolentcarrybyendles.jpg

I think non-evil got knocked out, but evil seems to like it...

Non-evil is blushing......^-^

Is it weird that non-evil really doesn't seem to care here?

Evil has to wait, non-evil's a little tied up at the moment(then again, that IS evil's fault...)

They will never part from each other......well, at least Evil won't.

I always thought evil Ash was the spirit of the King of Pokelantis, taking temporary possession of his body. Ash in this shape has psychic powers, and he talks and acts completely different. I got the feeling that evil Ash tried to shut out normal Ash, and wouldn't mind if normal Ash disappeared forever. All evil Ash is after is world domination.

An inteesting concept, but I believe evil Ash is (mostly) made up of the evil spirit of that old cruel king.

It /is/ the Pokélantis King, in a sense, but it's also like how "Ashley" is considered a separate character, even if it's Ash himself in drag. Evil!Ash is a concept, rather than actual circumstance.

...There needs to be a better way of explaining these things. ;.;

I see, it is in fact more a concept then. Evil Ash is in a way actually not Ash, but Ash with his spirit suppresed by that evil king, so Possessed Ash might have been a better name perhaps? One thing that makes this ship impossible in my opinion is that Evil Ash can only thrive if it suppresses normal Ash, so a relation between them seems to be out of the question then. Evil Ash would probably kill Ash if it was possible and still have his body to use for his evil needs.

I see Ashley as really Ash, trying to be a girl, not because it's part of his personality, but because he wants to enter the gym and can't in his usual clothes. I never thought of "her" as a seperate character.

Alright, I'll try my best to explain this ship:

Ash was originally possessed by the spirit of the ancient king of Pokelantis, who was originally supposed to just be a malevolent spirit(thus the ship name). When the spirit possessed Ash, it used his body for it's own evil purposes, hence the name Evil Ash, although it wasn't really Ash who was evil, it was the spirit controlling his body.

However, even after Ash was back to normal, he was the only one who never truly hated the spirit, even for a moment, although everyone else despised it. Even though the spirit was only there for one episode, it is believed that somewhere inside of Ash a small part of the evil spirit is sealed away...

Now in my opinion, Ash never did hate the spirit, even dislike it whatsoever. The two of the might have been able to form a closer bond if Ash and the spirit had had more time with each other. While Ash was possessed, he could hear and understand the spirit's thoughts and desires, and was inside of the spirit's mind, basically. Although Ash was a little afraid of the spirit at first, he must've been with it for two hours at least. In that time he could see everything the spirit did using his body, and definately understood it when he came out, but never told anyone what he had experienced.

Personally, I don't believe the spirit was evil at all. The spirit just wanted someone to understand everything that it desired and wanted in its life but never accomplished. Because Ash was the first to discover the spirit and invite it out into the light, the spirit chose to possess Ash, who it knew was very openminded and would listen to it. It didn't actually try to accomplish the things everyone thought it was, it was only trying to show Ash the things it had always desired in its lifetime. They really would have made a closer bond if they were to spend more time with each other in that two hour period that he was possessed.

Wow, that was a long explanation.

I understand how you see it. But judging on the fact that Ash didn't like what the evil spirit made his Pokémon do, and the fact that he had to fight the spirit to stop it, seems to me that they didn't get any bond at all.

Ash didn't say he hated it, but that could very well be because he was ashamed of not taking Brandon's advice, which caused him to encounter and free the evil spirit and what could have ended in disaster for a lot of people.

I don't think that anything remained inside Ash. If the writers intended that to be the case, they would most likely have used it in an episode not too far from this episode, or no one would have remembered this event anymore.

You can imagine Ash still has a part of that spirit, no problem with that, and it's an interesting concept, but I think when Brandon used the magic words to make it enter the "Poké Ball prison" again, it went fully back to where it belongs...

Well malevolentshipping i think is a interesting ship, although we will never see it again.

Ash only got possesed because him and the king of pokelantis had the same desires or had something in common, i can't really remember.

I don't support this but i did write a oneshot on this, my first and last. xD

Well, even then he didn't hate the spirit for what it did to his Pokemon. Actually, the battle between Evil Ash and Brandon was something he actualy just sat back and watched with enjoyment. He was a bit shocked at the outcome of the battle, but he only had to fight Evil Ash's possession of him to save Pikachu from being hurt like Sceptile was. That was all. He wasn't against anything Evil Ash did, he just wanted to save Pikachu. Wait-was that a Pikashipping moment in a Malevolentshipping episode or what?

I can't imagine Ash would sit back and watch with enjoyment while the evil spirit was treating Sceptile like a slave, and gave it some harsh words when it at first refused to hide behind the referee... Ash would never agree with treating any Pokémon that way, he would be even worse than Paul then and we know he hates the way Paul treats his Pokémon...

this now makes me wonder, has there been any CD-i pun about evil ash being "da king"?

This is what Brandon said to Ash:

"Young man, that evil spirit was attracted to you by your own uncontrolled arrogance. You work on that."

Battlefreak602, I love your banner. Is the placing of open mouth may and laying down Ash supposed to be as suggestive as it is?

sorry for the off topic comment, but this ship is alright I guess.

And WHO was it who ended up losing to Ash in the end, I wonder?

Brandon really makes me angry, he's like Paul all over again. Well, at least he gave a crap...

But this is coming from someone who doesn't even understand on his own what happened with the spirit, right? Brandon didn't even fully know about it. and the spirit latched onto Ash perfectly and both of them could've bonded a little more if Brandon hadn't interfered. Really, Brandon was the one who split their bond right in half. Someone ALWAYS has to break a possesive bond whenever two people possess one another....(oh good god I justr realized if I explain this I'm gonna make a new shipping but I'll do it anyway)

Most of the main characters have gotten possessed and then had the bond torn by someone who didn't want them together:

Ash+Evil Spirit=Evil Ash

Brock+Ghost Of Maiden's Peak=Brock Being Spirited Away(well, almost)

Pikachu+Blue Orb(Groudon)=Legendary Pikachu(God, that's so much fun to say. Legendary Pikachu.....has a nice ring to it...)
