[FONT=&quot]It was a happy, peaceful day in the world of Pokémon. The busy streets of Treasure Town were packed with merchants attempting to sell all kinds of berries among other goods. Residents of the town were happily entertained and were blissfully ignorant of all events transpiring outside the town. To the East, a thick cluster of clouds had formed, engulfing nearby areas completely. From afar, the clouds look like harmless dense fog. No one could possibly know what it really is; all who were enveloped by the cloud were never seen again.[/FONT]

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]Wigglytuff's Guild is sending out flyers to every [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Pokémon[/FONT][FONT=&quot] in the region. They're looking for new adventures to explore the lands and uncover new and marvelous locations, treasures, and maybe even [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Pokémon. You have responded to the letter and are now about to enter the Guild to start your adventure.

There will be 11 other Pokémon joining you as fellow applicants. You will be put in team with 2 others. There will be a total of 4 teams of 3 Pokémon. After everyone has completed their sign-ups, we will then decide what the teams will be.

[FONT=&quot]Personality: [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Luis is generally a quiet [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Pokémon. He tends to keep his opinions within his thoughts rather than letting them out for others to hear. He is fairly judgmental toward others[/FONT][FONT=&quot] but is quite able to restrain himself criticizing them. Luis rarely gets angry and is able to keep calm under most situations. He is also quite lethargic, even for a Lotad.

Despite his lethargy, Luis wishes to explore the lands. He has a great compassion for adventure, he just doesn't show it. Even with his great lust for exploration, Luis does not care for leadership roles and will gladly let someone else take the wheel. He feels that if he is in charge he will make a horrible mistake that could result in disaster. It's much easier for someone else to take the blame.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]History: [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Luis was born and raised in a small pond just north of the popular Treasure Town. His parents were quite protective and managed to keep a steady grasp on their children, preventing them from any harm. Often on nights, Luis would quietly sneak out of the pond and explore the small forest near it. He would always try to stay clear from danger, but sometimes danger found him.

A Duskull had once chased Luis throughout the forest, where it followed him to the family pond. The parents quickly awoke to defend their child; however, the mother's life was taken by the Duskull, just before dawn, when it disappeared. From that point on, Luis' father had been very strict on him, not allowing him to go anywhere beyond the pond. Tired of his sheltered lifestyle, Luis escaped when he finally saw the chance. He had heard recently of a Guild that was hiring adventurers. Happily, Luis made his way to treasure town. [/FONT]

Pokémon: Nuzleaf
Character Name: Jakku
Gender: Male
Appearance: His eyes are redder than you'd expect on a Nuzleaf, and he wears a black scarf tied around his neck. The eyes are the result of a rare genetic disorder, which led his parents to believe he was possessed, and the scarf just has so many uses. He's about average size and height for a Nuzleaf, and is a rookie adventurer, so doesn't have any injuries yet.
Personality: Jakku generally acts sarcastic to most of the people around him, which some would refer to as having a dry sense of humour. If they were being polite. He's very loyal to his friends, and will work hard at anything if it will further his dreams of running a guild, and being rich enough to not have to explore as much. He's fairly overconfident and arrogant, and tends to rub people the wrong way, quite a lot of the time.
History: Born to a normal family of Nuzleaf and Shiftree, he was quickly cast out, due to his red eyes. They believed he was possessed by the vengeful spirit of Darkrai. Keen to prove he wasn't, Jakku set off on a long journey to become a great explorer, or at least make enough money to make his family like him. He pursued a variety of jobs and roles as stopgaps, including a disastrous stint as a juggler, before finally reaching Treasure Town. Since reaching Treasure Town about a week ago, he has tried to set off on two seperate occasions alone, and been wiped out, having to be rescued by Guild members. He has now decided joining the guild is probably the easiest way around this.

Username: Oblivion
Pokémon: Cacnea
Character Name: Jack
Gender: Male
Appearance: No distinguishing features, really.

Personality: Jack may be an asset in combat, but he is not right in the head. At all. His actions rarely make any sense, he's incredibly hyperactive, and his views of friend and foe are drastically different from most others. He's normally quite ill-tempered, but he has sometimes shown friendship...for a few minutes. Mood swings are also quite frequent with him. One moment he can be giddy as a schoolgirl, then he grows solemn and depressed.

Probably the worst part is that he has no judgment. It's simply impossible for him to take into consideration consequences that come from his actions, nor standards that other people set. As such, he frequently gets himself into numerous antics, purely because he doesn't know any better. With proper reinforcement, though, he can become better.

History: Jack led a fairly normal life in secluded desert areas, with a small colony of his kind. He wasn't always insane. However, one day, he started seeing what he thought were hallucinations. The semi-transparent figure of a small, pixie-like Pokemon. He kept seeing it, over and over. One day, he tried to make contact with the creature.

And that was the day when everything went wrong.

The instant he came into contact with what he had presumed was a mirage, his head was flooded with massive amounts of images. Pain. Joy. Sorrow. Love. Anger. It was far too much for him to handle, and even when he wanted it to stop, they just kept coming, each image more intense than the last. In the end, his mind had all but snapped due to the encounter. He was found by the rest of his family one day, but they found that Jack had become someone else. It only took a day or two to figure out that it would be better for him to leave. So, they sent him out, hoping that he would find a way to cope on his own.

He had eventually, and after many bad encounters with wild Pokemon, found his way to Tresure Town, but at that point, he was at the point of falling unconscious. He had been saved by the guild members. However, he had decided to join the guild. Really, it was more of a spur of the moment thing. But in the long run, it would have its benefits.

Character Name: Janice
Gender: Female

Appearance: -Pink bow tied around her neck otherwise normal.

Personality: -She is easily excitable and dose things before she thinks. She will charge into battle then realize the enemy is 20x bigger then her. Tell people what is on her mind and then realize that might hurt them. She can get hurt spiritally really easily, she hates being sad.

History: -Her dad left home when she was still really little, he wanted to be an explorer, she was left with her mom. When she grew up she dreamed of being an explorer just like her dad, but her mother wasn't so thrilled. She sheltered her daughter and did the equivilent of home schooling. She didn't have very many friends. She was sick of being so cooped up so she ran away to find her dad and be an explorer too. She jurnied very far to find the guild and she became stronger in the process. She is ready for anything.

Name: Dash
Gender: male

Appearance: a scar over his left eye. And a super evil eyes. Otherwise normal.

Personality: easily agitated at night, and he's an excellent pickpocket. He can be very useful in combat because he hit fast and hard. He don't know why, but he definitely love the sound of a bell. he can be friendly to you.. Only if you're useful to him. if you're not, being around him is like in a living hell.
He loves something small and shiny.

History: grew up in a snowy mountain with his pack. His mentor, a twin weavile named ren and sho. Teach him how to hunt in pack and a lot of awesome battle moves. Since he's the best thief in the pack, his pack always count on him to steal other pokemon's egg.

After he's old enough, he left his pack to hunt for treasure. He tried to go to a dessert, in search for treasure.
After, like, 5 days, he ran out of food and almost died of hunger.
a cacnea found him and took him to the guild, and he thinks joining the group is probably the best way to find treasure.

Mewstone, I would prefer it if your history was a little bit longer. Yours just doesn't explain too much about your character. Not to mention your grammar is slightly off, but I don't mind too much (same with you, Lldenar). Just add a little to your history and then you'll be fine with me.

Pokemon: Ralts

Character Name: Arcadius

Gender: Male

Appearance: Normal Ralts appearance, but with shiny coloring*, and one of his horns is slightly chipped

Personality: Short-tempered and unnecessarily violent, especially for his species. Arcadius rarely speaks in social settings, and when he does, he his blunt, tactless, and brutally honest. When in a leadership position, his method of running things is to beat everyone into submission. His main goal in life is to evolve into Gallade so he can beat the crap out of whatever gets in his way.

His harsh nature drives most away, but if you can somehow gain his trust, he is unfailingly loyal. Arcadius also has a hidden soft spot for young children, but goes out of his way not to show it.

History: Arcadius was the firstborn to indifferent parents whose only real involvement with their children was to give them unnecessarily fancy names. Because of this, he learned to be self-sufficient from a young age, taking care of his siblings and occaisionally smacking them around. A short time after his youngest sister, Nausicaa, was born, Arcadius's home was struck by an earthquake. Arcadius's parents survived, but because of their inattentiveness, not all of their children did. Furious and inwardly grieving, Arcadius took Nausicaa, who was too young to care for herself, and left.

After drifting for a while, Arcadius and Nausicaa ended up in Treasure Town, settling near the Marowak Dojo so that Arcadius could train. When he heard that Wigglytuff's Guild was gathering exploration teams, he decided that it would be the best way to earn money and get stronger. Arcadius made an arrangement with Chansey to look after Nausicaa during the times he would be away, and then went to report to the Guild.

Extra: *If shiny coloring isn't allowed, his appearance is just normal, other than the chipped horn. I <3 you.

Pokémon: Mudkip

Character Name: Blaire

Gender: Female

Appearance: Blaire has more sparkly eyes. She sometimes wears a bow of any colour on her right paw, and maybe a little amulet around her neck.

Personality: Blaire is kind at most times, but when it's serious, she is dead-serious. She is pretty tough and can handle many things. Blaire is the kind of person you'd go to for comfort; she gives off a feeling of kindness and trust. She helps all she can. Whenever she sees someone hurt, she gets sort of sad and angry if she sees someone giving that pain to another.

History: Blaire grew up in a nice family with caring parents and siblings. Her siblings were bratty and always begged her to play with them. Once they got older, they didn't turn out so nice and began doing criminal things and hurting other Pokémon. So, her parents gave her the responsibility of watching them wherever they went, meaning she had to go to their friends' houses and watch over them; making sure they didn't do anything bad.
Blaire's parents had complete trust in her, even after her sister died in a freak accident, her brother barely living and her other sister escaping perfectly fine.

Appearance: - It's sort of hard to distinguish one Litwick from another, so I'll just say Curse's wax is dripping over his left eye instead of the right one.
Personality: - Curse is dark, but humorous, and loves to pull pranks. He likes to crawl around in the nighttime to feed his own curiosity. He is considered very mischevious, but because of that, he has a very strategic brain and is a great fit to lead an exploration team.
History: - Curse originally came from a Ghost dungeon where he escaped the captivity of an evil Gengar. Someday, once he becomes powerful enough/fully evolved, he wants to go back and free all the Ghost types that were unlucky enough to not escape its malicious wrath. Just recently, he found shelter in the home of Duskull, the banker, who has gladly been kind enoguh to house him. Oblivious, yet curious.

Appearance: Pretty much a normal Wartortle, with a slightly larger shell.
Personality: He is clumbsy but bright. Constantly storing berries in his shell to snack on when he is hungry, which is all the time. He likes to explore lots of areas, whitch lead him to the Guild. He has a fear of electric types.
History: He was the youngest of his family, who were all wartortles when he hatched. He enjoyed swimming a lot, but a Lanturn challenged him to a battle near his home once and he was knocked out really fast. Since then, he did not swim as much and was really afraid of electric types. He never really liked battling after that either, but he decided it was worth it to be on a exploration team.

Character Name: Plasum
Gender: male

Appearance: Plasum’s gas trail is a smoky gray, his body is a solid black not a dark purple, and his fangs are like a Haunter’s because they appear to be a part of his face. (just look at a Haunter’s teeth.)

Personality: Plasum has a sense of dedication which seems very odd for such a solitary pokemon, but another word that someone might use instead of dedicated would be relentless. Plasum never forgets his grudges, never gives his foes a chance, and never lets some one he’s made a promise to down. Besides his loyalty Plasum is a good friend because he doesn’t care about his friend’s mistakes or imperfection, but only because he chooses to make up for them himself. Lastly Plasum’s general strategy for battling and exploring is to vanish and appear or fake his defeat.

History: Plasum had once lived far away in the ruins of a grand fortress with many pokemon of his kind and other ghost types as well, but that was years ago. The fort suddenly collapsed and the entire complex was reduced to rubble. With it completely un-inhabitable his family, friends, and neighbors all went into an exodus to find a new home. His family had relocated to the edge of Treasure Town. Recently Plasum had moved out, and lives outside the actually town.

These days Life for Plasum has always been generally quiet. He lives alone in a quant stone cottage that was being overgrown by ivy and brush. Here Plasum had a solitary way of life which involved him spending hours in study on the origin of his original home. He had been young when he left and wanted to know where he came from, but when he would ask his family they didn’t have mush to say. Driven by his thirst for a past Plasum has now joined the guild to get a chance to actually go and find his ancestral home.

Extra: we Plasum falls asleep he begins to float higher instead of lower. He also can’t phase through walls while asleep.

Personality: - Curse is dark, but humorous, and loves to pull pranks. He likes to crawl around in the nighttime to feed his own curiosity. He is considered very mischevious, but because of that, he has a very strategic brain and is a great fit to lead an exploration team. Some call me evil, but he shakes it off and calls himself wise instead. With his troubled background, he believed the two words are practically the same. He dislikes Pokemon who think they are everything, and aren't fair to others, and he is willing to stand up for what he believes in.
History: - Curse originally came from a Ghost dungeon where he escaped the captivity of an evil Gengar. Someday, once he becomes powerful enough/fully evolved, he wants to go back and free all the Ghost types that were unlucky enough to not escape its malicious wrath. Most of his life was spent, escaping the power of evil Pokemon who always want to use Curse for his naturally powerful attacks. He stumbled upon Treasure Town during a late night after following the light of the Wigglytuff Guild torches up on its high peak. He knew exactly what place is was, as he heard of it previously, but he needed beforehand training. Just recently, he found shelter in the home of Duskull, the banker, who has gladly been kind enoguh to house him. Oblivious, yet curious.
