I thought I would share this with everyone. The other day I found out that Nintendo and Sega will team-up again to release a second Mario & Sonic game. It's called, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, and will be based on the upcoming 2010 Vancouver Olympics. The game will come out in Late 2009 and will feature controls to use the Wii Balance Board (from Wii Fit).
I must say I was a little surprise by the news, since I do have the original Mario & Sonic and thought of it as a novelty game at best.
I guess that means that Nintendo and Sega will be releasing Mario & Sonic games every two years now (or at least until Sega losses the rights to make Olympic video games).
Up next, Mario & Sonic at the 2012 London Olympics it seems will be a safe bet at this point.
