I remember this one episode of Pokemon where there is this guy with a fighting type pokemon (actually I think they did this once with a Hitmonlee/Hitmonchamp and then a separate ep fighting with a PrimeApe) and I thought, what about people who do this in real life?
It might sound absurd, but I'm pretty sure it happens. For example, you know how in Tekken Heihachi trains Kuma and Xiaoyu's Panda?
That happens in real life! People wrestle bears, I read about it in some wrestling biographies I read about the Hart Family, Stu had them in the back ring and he also trained alligators there.
Plus, anyone with a big dog has had experiences tousling around, I remember I had a border collie who knocked me over a lot in the snow when I was a kid.
So I think there's potential in that! Oh, and in Hajime no Ippo, the heavyweight champion boxes a grizzly bear too.
