It was about 3 o clock in the afternoon and i as waiting patiently in the departure lounge. In my pocket i could feel my first two pokemon i had ever owned, a Wartortle which had evolved recently and an extremly powerfull onix. My names conor and I was born in pewter city. My father worked for The world known professor Oak and my mother used to help out at our local pokemon centre every now and again. I grew up in Kanto but at the age of seven moved to the Johto region. In the last seven years i have moved to 13 new locations and was getting very sick of traveling.
Half an hour later i heard a womans voice blazing over the anouncement speakers. Thats me i thought and picked up my bags and began making my way to the runway. I checked through customs and jumped onto the poke-jet.
After watching a film about a trainer having to rescue a group of people from an evil group with his loyal pikachu and jigglypuff, the plane began to make the decent to a set of islands where i would be living in for a while. They were just north of the Hoenn region and were apparently a tropical paradise! Huray i thought sarcasticly. All i knew was i was going to live with my cousin harry for afew days (even though i had never met him).
As the plane landed i grabbed my bags and headed towards the shuttle ferry. More travelling i thought and sighed. The ferry was quite small but still managed to fit 150 people aboard. One thing i did know was that it was definately tropical as it was blazing. I sat on the top deck looking at these islands as i passed. Some of these were tiny and some were of a staggering size.
The ferry only took about half an hour and soon i arrived in a smalll town over looking the vast sea. I got of the ferry and soon enough met up with my cousin. He seemed very hyper and was 5 years younger than me. Today was his tenth birthday so he would be recieving his first pokemon when we returned to his house.
I must admit this island seemed very boring to me so i quickly wondered of into the distance. I found a nice little stream with a hilly mountail on the opposite side so i decided to let my pokemon have a run around. As i lay down on a bank a shot of water blasted at me. I looked down to see a whale like pokemon squirting water at me.
I pulled out my Pokedex. Wailmer, the whale pokemon. This pokemon can fill itself with water so it becomes inflated like a baloon. It then bounces around to travel over land.
I was about to teach it a thing or two but i was distracted by someone shouting. I turned around to notice harry calling me from behind. He had came to chalenge me to a battle. He'd only had his first pokemon five minutes and already he was challenging me to a battle. Of course i had to accept it and took him on.
He threw his pokeball and out of a flash a ralts apeard. Ralts i thought, ha easy, so i sent out my onix. It Roared vilently and screeched at the enemy. Ralts tried to pound onix but it burrowed underground. The ralts looked round and suddenly onix used dig and came crashing up under it. The ralts flew into the air and onix quickly tackled it in mid air. By now the pokemon had fell to the floor and was strugling to get back up.
However it did and it suddenly began to glow. Its eyes turned blue and it lifted its arms. As if by magic onix begen to levitate and was sent crashing into the cliff. It fell to the ground with a huge bang and harry shouted to ralts to calm down. Suddenly it stopped glowing and came back to itself.
At this oportunity Onix sprung back up and charged at Ralts. It swung round and unleashed a devistating iron tail and ralts was out for good. Harry called it back to his pokeball and congratulated me.That was another victory for me and onix so we walked back with harry and had some dinner. Of course i didnt forget to rub it in to harry a bit though!!!
