Who would win in a battle? Who's the better companion?

Let's settle this now.

Depending on what year this is, May only has a weak Torchic and Wurmple. How is a trainer with a pathetic Torchic that runs into rocks and KO's itself and some weak Wurmple going to battle?

May's team sucks!

Not true! Skitty beat a Dusclops and Beautifly is strong! Torchic isn't used much now but May's probably waiting until it gets stronger.
 
The second May sends out her bug type, Misty would cower in fear. Easy win.
 
I don't even know who this May character is, stupid KidsWB is still airing the Master Quest episodes!

I don't know, but I heard KidsWB is going to air a "preview" of the first two Hoenn episodes soon. I think we'll see who this May character is then. Does anyone know when that preview event will happen?

OMG, nobody can ever replace Misty! May? I doubt she'll have half the personality that Misty had.

And Misty had such a well-defined goal to work toward!

May is named after a month. She wins plus she's a brunette, so she wins again.

Plus less bossing on Ash. Another win for the Month girl

This May girl is kinda cute.

But I like Misty with Ash better.
 
I don't think comparing them really matters. Have any of you thought that May is just Misty with amnesia? She dyed her hair and grew it out and moved in with her parents in Hoenn.

No amount of surgery can help Misty especially look at her sisters. Someone dropped the ball there.
