May's final Hoenn contest and Donphan episodes banned on KidsWB

KidsWb is skipping 3 episodes (Donphan ep, and May's 5th contest) and going straight to the Munchlax and Masamune episode after this Saturday. And then we're going straight to the Grand Festival after that.

What's odd is that the UK got the dubbed Donphan and 5th contest 2 parter, but KidsWB being the bastards that they are, they're skipping it because of Jynx.

So as of now we're not going to get to see May get her 5th ribbon in the U.S. ****ing retards.

They just completely messed up the continuity of May's contest quest. Well Jynx people, you were right. Even if they were important episodes like a Contest, the episodes still get banned because of Jynx. Does KidsWb really expect us to believe that May got her 5th ribbon out of nowhere?
 
It's odd. 4Kids obviously dubbed it since Mean With Envy is currently airing on Cartoon Network UK+1, so Kids WB are the only ones with a problem. We all thought purple Jynx would stay and you even got an advert suggesting that that would be the case...

What's worse for continuity is that you are very likely to see Drew tell May that she needs that ribbon on Saturday. Then *poof* She's at the Grand Festival without the fifth ribbon... except she will have it.
 
I'm sort of out of the loop here. Jynx is in all three eps? For how long in each, and how important to the story?
 
The Donphan episode is being skipped because May registers for her 5th contest in that one. So, that, with the two Jynx/Contest episodes are being banned because they all relate to each other.

This creates a major plothole, as May's 5th ribbon will now come out of nowhere.
 
Well, she doesn't register until half-way through Mean With Envy but the first episode is cloely linked since it is about May getting there.

Snorunt also gets screwed since the Ice Beam stuff won't be set up either.
 
So by skipping these 3 episodes, they ruined the following:

1. Donphan episode sort-of foreshadows the return of Ash's Phanpy/Donphan

2. May proves her character as she would have missed a contest and thus missed her chance of entering the GF to find Max.

3. The Ash/May scene where Ash tries to tell her to go ahead as she bursts into tears will not be seen.

4. May shows her love for her brother in this episode as I said above, in one of the most heartwarming moments in the anime.

5. May's Contest is being skipped thus we don't get to see her get her final ribbon.

6. Juan and Drew telling her to get the 5th ribbon is now screwed continuity, as they're not showing the episodes.

7. POOF, May shows up in the GF with 5 ribbons? WTF?

8. Jynx is still banned, on KidsWb at the very least.

BASTARDS. Not only am I angry because a Contest episode is very important (it's like if they skipped a Gym battle), but they also skipped the Donphan episode which I was dying to see for over a year. That episode was excellent too.

Idiots.
 
If it wasn't for all the character development, (for Snorunt and Ash as wells May), Date Expectations honestly wouldn't be much better than the first Donphan episode, (which was the first true Johto filler.)

And about your first point, Phanpy appears in the opening! That's all the foreshadowing KidsWB needs! Not that I can call it foreshadowing besides Ash briefly remembering that he misses Phanpy.

Yes, but the character development is what makes that episode a good one. The Ash/May, May/Max, Snorunt, Donphan, and May breaking down into tears were all excellent moments for the episode.

This episode was fantastic for May's character, as she was willing to give up her entire Contest quest just to find Max. If that doesn't make this episode a winner, I don't know what does.

Hell, if 4kids can forgive and forget and dub the episodes with Jynx in them, why doesn't KidsWb think the same?
 
I don't think 4Kids would have dubbed it if Jynx wasn't purple in this. It was probably originally made purple for this episode with our interests in mind.

4Kids must have kept the sound in their files as well, since Jynx sounds the same in these episodes as it did in Holiday Hi-Jynx.

If that's the case, then I wouldn't really worry about it that much. It's not as if they didn't dub the episodes, it's just the WB being retarded.
 
Yes but what about the people watching these episodes on TV? Do they deserve to be confused when May shows up at the GF with 5 ribbons? Do we deserve to wait for nearly 2 years until the DVDs of Advance Battle come out to see these episodes?

Do we deserve to miss these episodes even when 4kids dubs them? It's entirely KidsWb's fault, they're a bunch of bastards.
