I just saw "Entai at your own risk" it reminded me that was exactly what I did in the game once, and it used Roar. I used a golbat to do it, I must have been training it to become crobat, I can't remember well because I don't usually use Golbat, maybe I was looking for Entai with it but I can't belleive I was lucky enough for it to show up. Or maybe I was after a Quagsire or something that runs and Entai showed up.

With it being a misdreavus, before he revealed the secret weapon, I thought it might have been perish song like Marina's used, or destiny bond in hope that it would attack. I thought Entai would use roar because of my experience in the game.

One thing about Ash supporting him, I thought in the Anime catching legendary Pokemon was frowned on, Jimmy, Marina and Vincent stopped Team Rocket getting Raikou and they didn't want it themselves, There was also the Articuno the guy wanted a photo of but they also stopped it from getting caught by team rocket as it was suposed to tay uncaught to help people. If other legendary pokemon were not suposed to be caught, i didn't think they would support what the guy was trieing to do.

We're not in 1999 anymore. The writers don't use the same "rules" now that they used to.

Brandon owned 3 legendaries and Noland befriended one.

There's a huge difference than doing it TR's ways and trying to do a fair battle and try catch it with a Pokéball

I haven't watched after the Jhoto serries, that episode was made back when legendarys were suposed to be free. It was season 5.

It's because Atilla and Hunter where BAD. They where going to take Raikou and use it for evil purposes, well Enta just wanted to catch Enti as a trainer of pokemon. The reason Ash never caught any legendaries is because:

1) It would make him seem to strong, and the fans would complain even more if they made him lose with Legendaries.

2) Again, timing. Think about it. Celebi is evil and trying to distroy the forest. Do you really expect Ash to go: "OH MY GODZ, ITZ A CELEBI, I WANTS TO CATCH IT!!"? No, he's going to do the right thing and save Celebi.

Same thing with Latias and Latios. Ash is a good guy that knows how importent friendship is. He isn't going to go "OOOOHHH LATIOZ ANDS LATIAZ!!!" and catch them, because Lerenzo and Bianca are liable to do something terrible to him, and then kick him out.

This rule can apply to Eusine and Suicune aswell. All of Eckreuteak is being taken over by angry pokemon, and Suicune is comming to save everyone. Yet all Eusine can think about is trying to catch Suicune, so as expected, his actions are going to be frowned upon.

No one seemed to object to Eusine trying to capture Suicune either, even though it's pretty obvious he's not a good guy (well, he's a "good guy" inasmuch as he's on the side of the law, but he's a massive jackass, especially to Morty).

When Eusine was throwing a pokeball at Suicune, Morty was like "EUSINE, NOOOO!!!"

Well, he's a sexy jackass. <3 Seriously, I could see myself in the same position. More preferably, I WOULD be in that position, no question at all.

I noticed the weird thing how they kept this good pattern of legendaries non-captured until the Battle Tower Series(I think that's what it's called, me being extremely behind in the episodes,) that episode being Noland with an Articuno.

Befriending it's alright.
The Regis were caught because they have no personality and no brains, and they don't really seem to be legendary.
