Mega Hawlucha officially unveiled — TPCI partners with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre for a special live event on September 25th

In its hotly anticipated bout against its rival Machamp, Mega Hawlucha has been officially revealed in a special cinematic animated reveal trailer released via Pokémon's various official YouTube channels.

Mega Hawlucha
Bulked up by Mega Evolution, it uses its muscles to take hit after hit from opponents’ moves and flex its own strength. After luring its opponent into attacking, it retaliates to make them flinch before diving at them using its signature move, Flying Press, to aim for victory.

In a fitting tribute for a Pokémon inspired by Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling, The Pokémon Company International has partnered with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to host a special event at Arena México in Mexico City on September 25th, which will run from 6:00pm (PDT) / 7:00pm (CST). This event will feature a set of four exhibition matches between popular lucha libre wrestlers such as Místico. Fans unable to score tickets from Ticketmaster to attend the arena event live will be able to watch the event online via both the official Pokémon and CMLL YouTube channels.
