Mega Rising, the next expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, inadvertently revealed in update to Japanese official website

Following the mention in yesterday's messages from Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket's developers about a new expansion featuring Mega Evolution Pokémon being scheduled to release at the end of this month, fans have received their first look at booster packs from the upcoming expansion thanks to an update to the "How to play" on the game's official Japanese website.

The booster packs for Mega Rising (メガライジング) feature the same three Pokémon whose cards were previewed in the trailer in mid-August, namely Mega Blaziken, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Altaria.

While no official release date has yet been announced, based on item expiration dates in the game's in-game shop this new expansion is expected to launch on October 30th.
