I hope he stays with the twerps, with visiting his old friends every now and then. I enjoy him now much more than ever before. Sadly, he'll probably go back to the Rockets sooner or later.

He is infinitely more entertaining with the twerps.

He's a lot better off with the Charlie Boys than with Team Rocket right now. The serious villain personality doesn't fit Nyasu one bit.

I'd prefer if he really were fired and stayed with the gang a little longer.
As a character, he's been allowed to come out of his shell and be fun and entertaining, in stark contrast to his stoic persona when paired up with his team mates. It's also cool to see how he bounces off of other personalities besides J&J, which if memory serves, has been a surprising rarity in recent years.
Besides that, I think it's a set-up that would be a lot more intriguing plot-wise, and as an added bonus, there's the potential for having the rest of the 'mons speech being translated from time to time.

I don't know what his fate will be. I will tell you what the result of the situations are, though. If Meowth defects, then we WILL see TR disappear forever. Without the three of them together, there is no point to their continued existence regardless of what it may be. His being with the twerps for this time being a ruse, however, could have a further two effects. Both involve this being part of an elaborate plan, which if there is one, we don't know what it is. One possibility is that he remains loyal to TR and things go on as they were. The second is that Meowth regrets his actions and causes trouble for TR later. To me, it all depends on what you want TR to be. I have a feeling I already know the answer.

I'm gonna go with the twep option this time. It's a nice change of pace, and I love all the screentime he's getting?

I can see him returning to TR after the subway episodes.

For example when Ash is at the 4th Gym, Meowth will probably be with TR again.

To put a little variety in this thread, even if you ignore how the Rockets act in BW, I still vastly prefer him staying with the twerps even if things were still like they were in DP. I've complained for years how ignored Nyasu has been. This is probbaly the first time since freaking Kanto he got this much focus. As a huge Nyasu fangirl, I don't want to see this end.

He even bounces off the twerps better than he did with Musashi and Kojiro in past series. Maybe it was the lack of focus before, but I think it's because his personality just fits with the twerps better because they're all kids.

I would LIKE Meowth to stay with the twerps, but it is obvious it won't happen. He is leading Pikachu into the final/end-all Pikanapping plan. So I chose TR.
 
It would be really nice if he stayed with the twerps. I hope he gets to interact with their pokemon more, he & Miju were just adorable in the Choroneko episode. His chemistry is so much better with them, and Musashi & Kojiro come off as more threatening with out him. Everyone wins.
 
Can he live a double life?

I remember when this first came out, I REALLY wanted Meowth to go back to Team Rocket.......but now seeing him with the "twerps" I'm really liking him with them :( It would be more beneficial...
 
I love him with Satoshi, Iris, and Dento. But, then again things can always change or not appear good later on once it's played for a while. But, yeah he should stay with them for about I dunno 20-40 more eps for sure, I like him a lot ^^
 
I think if team rocket isn't trolling the twerps and Meowth really is fired, then he should go off on his own kind of journey. Of course this wouldn't happen in the near future epsecially since they planning on using him for a little while with twerp storylines.
 
I thought it was all a huge plan to start with, but then after Jessie and James had that short discussion in the Choroneko episode, I'm starting to think otherwise.

However, although I hope he stays, I hope he doesn't get caught for a while. If Iris or Dent caught him, if there's a new generation of games (meaning Ash travels again,) we'll never see Meowth again since he'd stay in Unova.
 
In maybe a small sense I can see why people prefer he stay with the twerps.

But honestly, I don't want him to stay with the twerps. The main group's Pokemon are already suffering in terms of screen time, even if Meowth would be more of a human character, I still think that the group's Pokemon would suffer even more if Meowth was on the main team.

And I for one, just don't like it. Meowth is beneficial to be sure, but in terms of the Pokemon, I'd rather someone else get developed over Meowth. Even if you don't like said Pokemon because it's ugly or whatever, I still think they deserve the screen time and development over Meowth.
 
I'm hoping that Meowth is pretending to be part of Ash's gang but plans to regroup with Jessie and James later. However, his time with the twerps gets him to truly not be evil anymore as he remembers that he actually had fun with them, making him regret betraying them.

It's pretty predictable but if the writers can pull off this kind of character development, then I'll be very impressed.
 
A welcome change. That's why I want him to stay with the twerps a bit longer.
Maybe even forever? Well, that's a bit hard to decide given that we've gotten used to him being a member of Team Rocket after all.
 
I want him to stay with Satoshi and gang longer. He is just adorable with them, and I have gotten used to it quickly than I originally thought I would.

I completely agree. He fits in perfectly with the twerps.
