Got around to finishing up this dumb doodle so here it is! (A censored dialogue variant for the forums anyway)

I'm not particularly great at art nor do I even enjoy doing it to be honest but he's my muse for now so there might be a few pieces here and there of him (Or not! I prefer writing) :0052:

Can ya tell I love him yet?

I'd forgotten how great the original and only Meowth was until you came along, so thanks for existing haha

sad to hear you didn't actually enjoy drawing this, but then double thanks for sharing it! it's a very good piece of art, only way to make it more better in my opinion would be to have Meowth's "pinkie" out, so he's enjoying his cigar like a true gentleman~ hehe

It's complicated. It just takes so much time for me to do very simple pieces and it's a coinflip on if it looks nice in the end or not. Some people like the process of creating a drawing in of itself but my brain wants to skip ahead to the finished product so it's a drag at times. But I do like being artistic in general! I might just try to study him so I can get proficient at his form so if anything I can at least just doodle him specifically when I want. I can't draw humans, I never have been able to, but if a day ever arrives where I can, then this world will be plunged into darkness with the amount of Me x Meowth art I will be creating.

That aside, I KNOWWWW, HE'S SO GREAT. Thank you, I appreciate it a lot :3 I hope more people get inspired to write about him or draw him or dote over him in the way I do. I love him love him love him. I'm honestly surprised not a lot of other people feel so strongly about him but I guess that's how hyperfixations be. Everyone must CONVERT. RAHHHHHHHHHH :lapras:

you certainly draw a good Meowth!

Dumb meme drawover because I was bored :slowpoke:
not gonna lie it looks kinda cursed because, redrawing a meme based on a real cat, Meowth looks more like a Persian here haha. I'm too used to his big round head!

I wasn't sure if the lines looked wonky or not so here's a uniform with both. My back hurts like hell I gotta stop shrimping when I doodle.
I feel it works better with the lines, because lineless makes it look like just the regular Team Rocket uniform (even with the bat and helmet) while the lines does make it look like a baseball uniform

hehe, you described my entire experience with digital art in one sentence...

that's why I almost immediately went back to pencils after I tried drawing digitally. needing lots of time is okay IF the result's guaranteed to be to your liking while failing half the time is okay IF it doesn't take much time. but BOTH downsides at the same time? yeah no

there's a shine and vibrancy to digital that I can't replicate with colored pencils, but in the time I'd need for one digital bust, I could draw, line, color, scan and prep for upload a full drawing with pencils... or three or four busts—at least

if your back hurts from all the time needed for digital, might be worth it to try the (hopefully) much shorter traditional way? take care!

Now I need to get to drawing him looking like Ryan Gosling in blade runner like I mentioned. And thank youuuuu. I tried doing him with pencils before but digital gives so many quick cheats. Like I had to squish him halfway through because I realized I made him weirdly tall lmao. :swirlix:

I wanted to write a story regarding a Porygon-Z that was romantically obsessed with TR's Meowth, leading it to trap him in a digital world of its creation. I brought up in another thread how I thought Joel Tumelty's "A World I Built For You" felt somewhat fitting for a take on Porygon-Z and I wanted to delve into that a bit more. I always liked ideas regarding virtual worlds, AIs, the digital space, anthropomorphized viruses, and all that. Sci-fi is my jam.

I head canon that the Porygon line is able to take on whatever form it likes while in the digital world. A bit of this is shown in Electric Soldier Porygon but I mean more like an "avatar" it can use. Of course, it'd be stuck in its original form when outside of computers. This Porygon-Z, "Syntax," is very deep in the Meowth brain rot (Like me!) and it definitely shows in the form it takes. They're not really any specific sex because in a digital space they could be either one (Or both) if they wanted to, and outside a PC they have no bits at all anyway. So their gender is really whatever anyone wants to refer to them as. They're also a "I can be whatever you want me to be" vibe.

I know a Pokémon obsessed with Meowth seems specifically designed to be a self insert or sona of mine but I already got a Pokésona! This is more because I like the "crazed madly in love AI" trope and I might as well focus it on a character I actually like if I'm gonna write about it.

Cool little fact, the font I used for their name is "Proun Book" which is a nod to it being the font on the cover of Pyskosonik's album aptly named, "Psykosonik." Their song, "Welcome To My Mind" is honestly my go-to listening choice when doing any sort of lore on digital characters or virtual worlds, and I'd recommend giving it a listen!

Anyway here they are. :ayeaye:
