When Sushi translated that scan that said Ash/Dawn will get a badge/ribbon (that some people incorrectly think means they'll have a "winning streak" and I think all it means is that Ash will get his third badge soon and Dawn her second ribbon soon which is obvious anyway)

She also said the trio will appear sometime soon (and that plush site shows new plush of them)
How can it be that all of us the speculation crazys don't talk about it?

I think maybe they'll want to connect J and Galactic like how Magma/Aqua were connected
But this time instead of the two teams hate each other and are "rivals" maybe they'll do what I remember some speculated before and Galactic will get help from J to catch the trio
If they could ask the TRio to steal that Dialga item (when will I get a DS finally? I want Ranger and DP T_T that's why I don't know that item's name...) why won't they try J?

I hope they'll keep J and Galactic as two separated plots (and Ash as the main for J while Dawn for Galactic) but they'll probably won't do that

As for speculations about the trio I will join in after I find out more about the scan as it sounds interesting!

The association that you have in mind would not be in the vein of Team Magma and Team Aqua, seeing as those two teams rivaled each other. If you want to draw a comparison to the games, then Colosseum's Team Snagem and Cipher's relationship is very much like what you suggested for J's henchmen and Team Galactic (the former team of the two groups steals Pokémon using illegitimate means, which are then handed to the latter team for it to do its evil bidding; Team Snagem also captured the three legendary beasts to that end).

If the writers did that, it would mean that J is in fact a plot device that serves to explain how Team Galactic can acquire the legendaries, which is not explained in the games. Of course, there is no telling whether the anime will even have Team Galactic acquire the fairy legendaries in the first place; so far Team Galactic has not followed the game route whatsoever.

The legendaries' alleged appearance might be intertwined with a visit in Celestic Town; if that turns out to be the case, the legendaries will not make a full-fledged appearance, not unlike Ho-oh in its two episodes set in Ecruteak City.
 
I don't have Gamecube so I couldn't play Colosseum/XD
So I don't really know much about the plot there
And even if J will help Galactic or not she does have her own plot and will appear to do other things not related to Galactic... at least so it looks like now
 
If they do appear I hope its part of an arc rather than random eps.
