Messed up friend code

I was just playing my Pearl game and when I looked at my friend code, it was totally different and my friends were not in my registered codes. Can anyone help?? I am really confused!?!?!?

EDIT: I tried to add a friend and it wont let me. What should I Do????

Did you play your game in another DS at one point? The Friend Code resets if you do.

Try re-registering. I'm not sure if you can, but it may work...

Oh, yes my brother played it in his game . That explains it..

I did try that, I got a new friend code, but the problem is that when I add try to add a friend, it shows that I added the friend and then when I go back to it, the registered friends page is blank.

Did you cheat? that might have caused it.

Okay, just wondering. :039: Because my friend said he would beat the Elite four for me ( at the time I had trouble with Agatha) so then he cheated and I lost all my TM's :-( but I had ? Items.

It's clearly explained to you in the game that the cartridge and the DS are treated as a set when going online. So if you've done anything to break up that set: playing your game on a different DS, or a different game on that DS, that'll do it.

Your friends would then have to re-add you with your new Friend Code.
