~Hey! The name's Metabee, jack of all trades and master of none.~
So, I've been thinking lately. I've always been a bit concerned about the quality of my art. Metabee's Metaemporium of Artistry is a free service, where you tell me what you want me to draw, and I draw it, just because I want to become a better artist!

Here's what I currently offer;
  • Coloured Digital Art
  • Digital Lineart
  • Coloured Hand Drawn Art
  • Hand Drawn Lineart
  • Hand Drawn Sketches
All images are totally free! The only thing that you need to spend when requesting from me is time - what you see above is a sliding scale of the amount of time it will take me to produce something.

Coloured Digital Art will take the most time to produce, and Hand Drawn Sketches will take the least amount of time. Though, these rules are not set in stone. There are several other factors that will contribute to the time taken, such as detail, backgrounds, and how complicated the drawing is in general.

All Digital Art will be produced in Paint.net using a Bamboo Fun tablet!

Please bear in mind that these are only what I currently offer - I'm liable to expand to other forms of art if this shop really lifts off!

And here's the rules;
  • Do not rush me!
    If you want to get the best out of me, don't pressure me to get your request done! Even though I'm doing this shop for my own benefit, I have a life to live!
  • Please credit my work!
    Again, I'm doing this for my own benefit. If you're going to use my art for anything, credit it, and maybe I'll get better known! And that would make me very happy!
  • Don't claim my work as your own!
    Seriously, if you wouldn't go and steal something from a shop or something, don't steal my art. And even if you would, don't. It's a dick move, alright?
  • Be polite!
    You're asking me to produce art. If you're rude, you'll get scribbles. Also, if my drawing isn't the masterpiece that you were expecting, don't moan at me for it. I'll always try my best, and if my best isn't what you were expecting, well, just be thankful you didn't pay for it.
  • Don't overwork me!
    Let's place a cap on the amount of requests that I take at a time. How about three requests at a time? If the three request slots are taken up, that's too bad. You're welcome to come back and request when there's a slot open, however.

Please follow these rules, otherwise it's very unlikely that your request will be completed!
However, please bear in mind that I'm an easy-going and friendly person! If you ever have any questions, please don't be afraid to drop me a line and ask! And I like making friends, so be nice to me and I'll be nice to you!

So, how do you request?;
I'm glad you asked! There's a simple form you have to fill in.

Image Type;
Choose what you want from the list at the top of the page!
Canvas;
Choose between landscape or portrait.
Description of Image;
This is, in essence, what you want me to draw. The more detailed this description is, the better, because that will allow me to get a better grasp on the vision that you've got in your head. Please include colours, shading, poses, sheen, .etc
Background;
For digital images, transparency is very quick. However, I will do backgrounds if you ask for them, and again, try and be as detailed as possible. For hand-drawn images, transparency isn't an option, I'm afraid. I've only got so much skill in my editing program.
Reference Image;
If you want me to draw a specific character or setting, this will help, because then you don't have to put a lengthy explanation about what the character or setting looks like in the third section; you can just put the name!
Text;
For digital images, if you can provide a specific font, that will help, but it's not integral. As for hand-drawn images, you best hope you can read my handwriting.Other Comments;
There's bound to be something I've missed in this form, but if there's anything else you think I should know about, please tell me.

Please use the above form! If you don't, it's unlikely I will do your request! And detail will improve the quality of your image exponentially kinda!

Please bear in mind that I don't draw excessive gore, I don't draw porn or nudity and I don't draw anything that goes against the rules of the forum. Not that you'd go to a Pokémon forum to find porn but whatever, it's worth telling you.

Current Requests
1) Feferi riding on a Kingdra, both looking upwards and to the left.
2) A Charizard fighting with another Charizard in a mountain landscape in the day time and it's totally badass.
3) Serperior looking smug and manly, looking left with a natural background, white sky, green & yellow at the bottom, coloured tree to the side.

If you want to find some examples of my work, click the link to my Deviantart in my signature!
Thank you for visiting my shop! And please, don't be afraid to request!

Not really.

I hope this is okay. I'm terrible at these kind of forms, for some reason.

Well, as it's something simple I suppose this would be fine. And yeah, reference pictures weren't really necessary but you never know. :D

Could you please be more specific? What's Charizard doing that's so badass? What about the setting - is it day or night? Are the mountains close together, like a mountain range? Sorry to badger you, but it does help if I get as clear an idea of what I'm drawing as is possible.

One slot is taken up, everyone.

Ok day time, lets say he is fighting a fellow charizard, over one mountain, possibly more mountains in backround.

Eeeh alright I guess that'll do. I'll give it a shot.

Two slots are take up, everyone.

Image Type: Colored Digital Art

Canvas: Portrait, and an avatar version would be appreciated

Description of Image: Serperior would be in its regular state with its smug look. Try to make it look epic and manly. It would be looking to the left (as in the West Coast)

Background: Any natural-looking background with a white sky and green and yellow at the bottom, with a one-colored tree at the side (any side you want)

Reference Image: None

Text: "serperiority" in lowercase

Thank you in advance and I hope you will do a great job at this. Good luck!

Technically this is two requests, so I hope I’m not overworking you. ^_^

Image Type:
Coloured Digital Art
Canvas:
Portraite.
Description of Image:
I Have two characters, Joe and Josh, that my friend Elizabeth drew for me. I was hoping you could make their digital/anime versions? The pose doesn’t necessarily have to be the same, so long as their appearance and clothes are, but you can keep them the same if it makes it easier on you.

I’d like them head to foot, however. Try to have shoes that aren’t formal, but also not sneakers. Maybe converse?
Background:
Transparent is good. ^_^

Other Comments:
Their eyes are turquoise, just in case you couldn't see from the picture.

Well, the slots are taken up, but alright, just because I'm dying for requests. You're going to have to wait until the first three requests are done, though, if that's alright.

Also, while I'm here, I'd like to apologise for the fact that I didn't do any drawing during the last few days, but that's for obvious reasons I'm sure most can sympathise with. However, I have started work on the requests, so far we have a character aesthetically similar to Feferi riding upon a creature aesthetically similar to a Kingdra.

DOUBLE POST OLOLOL

Dear gog she's changed her username again's request is finally finished! It was quite fun to draw, and I'm sort of proud of it.

Now working on Mr.'s.

I have a question, sir: Hypothetically, if I were working on a new project for the Roleplay District and I were in dire need of some original concept art for several (fantasy-oriented) cities, would that sort of undertaking be your "cup of tea," as they say? Great artistic license would be granted to design said cities in whatever fantastic and varied ways you could conceive.

I had been considering sketching up some shots myself, but I presently lack preferable materials for such an undertaking - and have since determined that some fresh perspective would be welcome anyway.
