Why did Blizzard buy out Swingin Apes Studio? Has anyone played Metal Arms: Glitch in the system

Whilst I haven't played the game, or even heard of it, Blizzard probably bought out the company to reduce competition with Blizzards own games. By reducing completion, there is less choice for the consumer - with less choice gamers will be more likely to buy from companies that have already bought games of instead of the unknown, riskier choice.

I could be talking a load of rubbish. Though I did study business....
