So Microsoft is releasing the Surface their first ever Windows hardware. Microsoft also made keyboard cover peripherals. The Windows RT version will be releasing soon and the Pro version will debut in early 2013.

It's priced competitively with the iPad. The 32 GB model is $500 and the touch keyboard cover costs $100.

I've never been interested in tablets, but I am interested in seeing how this goes considering the very positive remarks being made pre-release.

Here's a promotional picture:

I hope that it at least can play more types of movie files than the iPad, that thing can't handle anything else besides MP4.

Agreed. I hate converting all my videos to MP4 just to put It on my iPhone or basically any iDevice. If you remembered, VLC used to be on the App Store until Apple pulled It and the only place you will find VLC is on Cydia which is FREE of course. I've used It and ran a few test and It sucks. Most videos are stuttering making It unbearable to watch.

I'm sensing Windows will encounter a problem and need to close >.>

remember when Microsoft tried to attack the Ipod?? wonder if it will be a repeat

Apple would probably sue.

Seriously I want to try it and see how it is like. I'm in love with my Nexus though.
