It's a motel that has an incident involving Team Rocket.
The building on the far left is New Bark Tower.
The long building next to it is the New Bark Subway station, which leads to the Indigo Plateau. In the subway, you have to battle trainers.

Interesting! What type(s) does the gym specialize in?

It's in fact Pryce's gym. He decided to move to New Bark Town just because, so now he's the eighth gym leader. The player now starts in Mahogany Town, right in the middle of the region.

I'm working on Mahogany Town right now, the displays will begin on August 16, which is this coming Monday.
