So I've been watching the Indigo League anime recently, and a few things just don't make sense. Now I'm not talking about things like Ash never aging or anything, but things like... Why the Princess Festival and Kids' Day are so close together. Who in Kanto is planning these regional holidays? So feel free to post things that you didn't think made much sense in the anime. Maybe we can discuss and come up with theories about them.

Just because episodes are close together, it doesn't mean the events are close together.

Now that we talk about time, Deerling being in its summer form for most of BW definitely sucked, specially after it was confirmed that the gap between the Virbank battle and the Vertress Conference was 3 months.

I don't remember whether it was Ash or Brock, but one of them mentioned that they were unreasonably close together.

Oh, okay, then that is weird. I don't know why they would do that. Maybe it's because they already planned the children's day episode and they wanted the viewers to think that the events of the episodes all took place close together or they just wanted both episodes be back to back because they each feature a Japanese holiday.

Perhaps.

also with vivillion and the meadow pattern

we need to see more use of abilities and moves.
We rarely see immunities of types that activate lately.

The thing like ghost cant get trapped, electric types paralyzed and so on also should be shown more.

Oh, Finally seeing this!
On that terrible episode when Ash lost his first league, why did that referee declare that Squirtle lost becuase he fell asleep? That was pretty bland. And he should've had atleast one 6vs6.
And did ash forget that buttefree is a flying type? He should've used Pikachu instead of Squirtle.

Oyeah, THAT. Ash has used Pikachu so much, and Pikachu would also have the type advantage. Obvious upper hand+better be at a high level=what's wrong with you.

I can't just name one because Pokemon's anime suffers from so many mistakes and errors that it is difficult to keep count. Though, its not that odd to be perfectly honest. With almost 1000 episodes and the sort, things are going to go wrong. Just, some errors are more bizarre than others. Like, BS reasons on how but Pokemon faint - Pikachu defeating a Onix, Golem and Rhydon with Thunder attacks? That's not even a dub error, but a series error. What makes it more odd is that they knew electric couldn't beat a rock type because they forced the concept that Onix could be hurt by electric if he was wet, but later decided that was no longer needed and could beat them sometimes anyway without the water? Then you have lesser mistakes like dub errors: Jelly Donut and not a Riceball.

Yeah, Ash use his pokemon to attack opponents that have an immunity to those attacks is a complete error.
