I've been wondering if anyone would have wanted Misty to stay and Brock to be the one to leave and only make one time appearances?

Yes let's reopen the can of worms that is Misty leaving, it's been what 7-8 years... I feel the topic has only been discussed a million times before.

But if you want an answer, it would have meant that either Misty would have discovered a taste for contests... or they would have added a coordinator of Brendan from the games and neither of those options look appealing

Am I the only one that likes Brock? His personality is pretty unique and he fills his role well. Misty's role has performed pretty well by the other girls.
