I personally want Misty bak. I liked her personality so much more then Misty...actually I pretty much just liked her more then May and was seriously dissapointed when she had to leave. What do u guys think?
 
May, for the simple fact that the Contest arc is excellent and basically pushed the show into a new direction. Her rivals are popular characters themselves, (Drew/Harley), and I love the shoujo elements in the show.

Once the Johto saga started, Misty's character plummeted into the ground and she never recovered. She's so bland nowadays that its an insult to her original Kanto/OI personality. I'm glad they've left her at the Gym, she'd just be another Brock/Max if she returned anyway, i.e. a background character while Ash/May would hog all the spotlight. Once the writers realized she was useless on the main cast, they got rid of her ala Tracey.

This show needs to get rid of its dead weight, not bring more of it back into the series.
 
Not again this... >_< We've had enough Misty vs May debates in this forum. This is like beating up a dead horse. Besides, this is the wrong forum, you should have posted this in Pokemon Anime.

And before this turns into the same boring debate, I'll close this topic. Thanks.
