misty returning?

does anyone know if misty is going to return to the D/P series?
 
Well, I'm sure she'll at least make a cameo somewhere... it might not be til the end of the arc though when they return to Pallet Town.
 
If she does at all, it will only be for one or two episodes, and not as a member of the main group again.

But then again, May and Max are more likely to make significant guest appearances, since they were part of the main group more recently.
I bet Max will finally have his first Pokemon.
 
She basically gets one or two appearances a region now. She got two episodes in Hoenn, and two and a half eps in early Battle Frontier.

She may show up in D/P for a few eps, but I wouldn't hold my breath at this point.
 
Man, I HOPE she returns. I heard she was comming back but I don't know if that's true...
 
Kasumi's VA has stated that she will appear in Diamond and Pearl, but she didn't say when.
 
Actually, I'm pretty sure she meant she'd be hosting the 10th Anniversary Specials, which her VA did.
 
Misty has already made a cameo appearance in DP.

She'll probably get new clothes if we see her again, since this is another new region and she'll need new clothes like Ash/Brock got.

Although I can see the writers leaving her in her AG outfit, since she was only in what...5 episodes with that outfit? It probably hasn't had enough screentime yet to warrent changing it again.
 
I must admit, I'll pretty peeved if Misty shows up before May and Max. And from the sounds of it, she might. Ugh.
 
May and Max's last appearance was more recent than Misty's, though, so in that sense she deserves to come back before they do. Plus, we know May will most likely be tied up in Johto until the end of D/P, and Max as an under-ten without a Pokemon can't make huge journeys alone, so Misty's more at liberty to take a holiday in Sinnoh for a couple of eps.
 
Hm, Misty actually hasn't been shown in the anime for quite a while if you don't count the Mastermind special.

Her last appearance was the Cleffa ep, and Battle Frontier went on for about 63 episodes afterwards. Add that with confirmed titles up to D/P 40 or whatever we're up to now, and add that together and Misty hasn't been shown in over 100 episodes.

It doesn't seem that long because the Mastermind special debuted in between that and we saw her again there, but not counting that the writers haven't showcased her in over 100 eps.

May/Max by contrast haven't been seen (or mentioned) in just 40 eps, because they were in the last AG ep. So in general, Tracey is the only old supporting character that got another appearance in the last AG ep, and the others have all been mostly ignored.

We could be waiting for quite a while yet before any of the older characters are shown again.
 
Well...I had an ideo about May return maybe during when Dawn compete in the Grand Festival.
 
May probably would be busy with the Johto GF during when Dawn is at her GF.

I kinda see Misty actually showing up before May. But I think May would be mentioned/shown in a little cameo before Misty, not in person though. Cause I don't see May being able to randomly appear in Shinou, when shes busy with her contests in Johto.

But I REALLY want to see both May&Misty, and Max as well. D:
 
It would be great if May and Misty got to have a mini-arc each during D/P. This season's been more conscientious than most about keeping down the filler, so it's possible. Misty's cameo could be halfway through the saga or thereabouts, and May's could be at the end, after the GF.
 
I just hope they make May and Dawn's meet up a special one. I can imagine a scenario with May finishing up in Johto before Dawn in Sinnoh, so May comes out to Sinnoh and runs into Ash and Dawn. May and Dawn then have a battle and become rivals or friends or whatever, but May's too far behind to compete in the same Sinnoh GF as Dawn.
