She might make a appearence in the future I guess. I'm sure the writers will want her to meet up with Dawn at some point considered she met May. Maybe at the end of Sinnoh?

Funny, because the more people asked for Brock to come back, it happened.

Besides, it would actually be more likely to happen if the writers realized that their Sales are going down because of us.

As for the topic, its a very mighty chance, as we already had Mayumi's blog, not to mention her appearance in the opening, as well as the fact that it's been hinted at repeatedly, from the Conventions to the VA blog, to the Lure, to even the opening. This is the most hints I have ever heard of in regards to Misty reappearing. It was definitely more than May, as she was barely even mentioned up until the Wallace contest, and it was certainly more than Misty's hints in Hoenn, and heck, when she left Johto, they even hinted at her possibly returning to the Main Cast. I mean, why have Brock say that she was hoping to continue on the journey if they never planned on her coming back?

I mean, I'd even argue that there an even more likely chance of her actually returning (as in, to the main cast.). I mean, even her VA hinted at it (which, BTW, didn't even have to do with specials/trivia segments, as she already said she was doing those, and Zhen Lin's article implied that it was meaning Misty returning to the anime.

Also, in the same opening, Misty was in the center of it. I mean, why have her in the center if they weren't planning to have something important. I mean, The Sideshow of DP also had Dawn being a bit farther back than Ash, though they still focused on HER. Meaning, as Dogasu put it, they played her up to be the star. If they can play her up to be the star despite her technically being a bit behind Ash (the leg was a bit smaller than Ash's, and the perspective was far too big to be muscle mass, since the arms were still of a similar size overall to Dawn in closeups.), then there's an equal chance of Misty probably getting an even bigger role compared to May and Gary (Especially since she's pretty much center.).

Whew, sorry for rambling, but, as I said, she's got a heckuva fighting chance to return to the main cast, and especially to make an appearance.
 
I like Misty, but I have a feeling that this thread is gonna go into the "Bring Misty Back" territory.

LMAO. Considering the turnover rate in most fandoms aimed at children, I'd be surprised of the target audience of Pokemon right now even remembers who Misty IS.
 
At least he's accurate. It would be more likely to happen if they realized that their sales were going down, but first that would actually have to happen.

Honestly i am not a huge misty fan but i have been going back and watching the johto season and i do miss her a little bit

personally i believe there is no way that she will return to the main cast because she has been gone for to long and she would serve no purpose. Plus she is already a gym leader shown in pokemon chronicles and in other specials. She is already set in her positon..

also they guy a few post above me what theme song are you talking about where misty is in it??

i believe she will return for a few episodes because of the lure being mentioned and because of the blog and the writers usually like to have old cast make apperences.

i just dont know what about you guys?

I would love a cameo when Ash returns to Pallet Town after the Sinnoh Leauge. I think that is the best time for her to appear.
 
She'll probably cameo at some point. That's about it, though.
 
The recent blog information we got confirmed what was obvious to everyone except Weedle - they dub an episode about two months before it air
So actually if Misty's VA hinted at appearance in her blog it would happen by now... she obviously meant that she narrated these tenth anniversary specials that aired with the Floaroma Contest episodes
Anyone who still insist it meant anything else is just stupid
So no there's no hint at all for a Misty appearance, it might happen and might not (I still believe they'll do something with her and Togetic to showcase Togekiss... but if not than she'll probably be there in Pallet when Ash visit after his Sinnoh journey)

You didn't read the Bulbanews article, did you? Well, I'll bold the important detail, and underline the lead-up detail so you can understand completely.

According to ☆飯塚雅弓のまーちゃん日和☆, the blog of voice actress Mayumi Iizuka, Kasumi will be "navigating," that is to say, hosting, parts of the first Pokémon anime 10th anniversary special, which airs on TV Tokyo tonight at 7 p.m. JST. She hints at a further appearance sometime in the future.

Basically, the Bolded part wouldn't make ANY sense if she was mentioning the whole special narrations, considering how, in the underlined part, she already confirmed that she would be narrating those specials. Heck, the Article's title was even labeled as "Kasumi to make appearance in Anime". So really, it actually was a hint at Misty returning. And if I must say, some others still believe it as well.

Heck, I'm pretty sure Zhen Lin also believed it as well, and was also right (Otherwise, he would have been deleted [ie, fired] by the Bulbanews staff for not reviewing his sources, just like Dan Rather was when he and other NBC news staff were fired for the Killiman documents controversy [and refusing that he was wrong].)

Besides, Her appearance in the Opening "High Touch" and the lure still count as Hints, anyways.

That depends, does their (Japanese) ratings currently being at their lowest ever (Like 5.5%) count as losing sales or not? I mean, if it's at that low, then the sales would follow shortly thereafter (if it truly is an advert, that is.).

Besides, it definitely isn't because of "People growing up", since, even IF the old fanbase departs, there's more than enough kids to keep the ratings up, so if the ratings are continuing to fall despite new kids coming onto the show... well, you get the picture.
 
We really don't need this thread yet again.
