Moltres is so frustrating!

So I've been trying to get Moltres in LeafGreen version, and that sucker just won't get into the million ultra balls I'm throwing at him. Keep in mind that it's at 1hp and paralyzed...any help? Thanks in advance!

So I put him to sleep, not even at 1hp yet...and I caught him first try! Thanks a bunch, mate!
