Contest Moltres vs. Ho-oh vs. Talonflame

a.k.a. the firebird suite

Three of our four Fire+Flying types happen to be bird Pokemon (sorry, Charizard, you're sitting this one out, and Fletchinder you'll be a Talonflame anyway when you finish growing up) of various kinds. What's your favorite? Which one might win in a fight?

Moltres:
- Based on a phoenix and/or Suzaku firebird
- Lower-tier legendary Pokemon (BST 580)
- Balanced stats, stronger on Sp.Atk
- Some backstory in Firered/Leafgreen

Ho-oh
- Based on the Fenghuang phoenix and/or Huma firebird
- Higher-tier legendary Pokemon (BST 680)
- Strongest on Sp.Def and Attack, weaker Defense and Speed
- Mascot of Gold/Heartgold, with notable backstory
- Hidden Ability: Regenerator

Talonflame
- Based on a falcon
- Fully-evolved common Pokemon (BST 499)
- Excellent Speed, otherwise balanced stats
- Hidden Ability: Gale Wings (priority to all Flying moves)

Ho-Oh is my favorite legendary and one of my alltime favorite Pokemon, so....Ho-Oh. I like its history, abilities and powers, and design the most, and I love the Asian Phoenix and its symbolism. Moltres and Talonflame are great, but Ho-Oh will always have that special place in my heart.

I always imagined that Ho-oh was the result of releasing the first games, and then the designers thought, "Damn, we could have made Moltres so much cooler!", so they created Ho-oh

Favoritism bias here: Gotta vote for my all-time favorite, Moltres. It looks so elegant and free.

Although I really like all Fire/ Flying types for some reason.

Ho-Oh for sure. I could understand why someone would pick Moltres, but Talonflame? That's a joke.

someone nearly beat me with a talonflame, that flying move priority is very dangerous. ended up taking advantage of my sylveons rocky helmet cos none of my pokemon had enough hp to take another acrobatics
