So in my area a few of us decided to have a little tournament. Each of us had to make mono typed teams of a randomly selected type. I got ghost. I'm learning ghost isn't the easiest to make a mono team around (also we have no wildcards). There's a lot of gimmickness to this team, but I'm willing to make changes.

Froslass @ Focus Sash
Timid Snow Cloak
252 SpAtk/252 Speed/4 Def
Spikes
Taunt
Destiny Bond
Ice Beam

When I started this team, the first thing I noticed was no one could learn Stealth Rock. So I had to settle for the next best thing in Spikes. I can usually get 1-2 layers down. Taunt helps for leads who I think aren't going to attack, Destiny bond can hopefully take a pokemon down. Ice beam is to prevent taunt from locking me up and is a OHKO on some leads like Gliscor and Aerodactyl and good damage to others.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Adamant Pressure
252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
Substitute
Focus Punch
Sucker Punch
Ice Punch

I knew that most ghosts weren't bulky and most were special attackers so I added Dusknoir next. I ended up going with the subpunch set because I wanted a good fighting move to combat ghost types. Sucker Punch gives me a decent priority move (and is stronger than shadow sneak even after STAB) and Ice punch rounds out the set giving me an option against fliers and dragons.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid Levitate
252 SpAtk/252 Speed/4 Def
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Explosion

The premier special attacker of the team was added next. I went with the standard life orb set, but I'm thinking I might switch to the choice scarf set to add a little more speed. I'm a little iffy on the last two moves. I'm not sold on Focus Blast's accuracy, but it's nice to cover dark types more. Explosion is there as a last resort, but I tend to never end up using it.

Mismagius @ Leftovers
Calm Levitate
252 HP/216 SpDef/40 Speed
Mean Look
Perish Song
Protect
Taunt

Next I started just looking for ideas. Mismagius jumped out at me because it had a decent amount of variety. I ended up going with the perish trapper set because it's usually unexpected and many don't know how to deal with it. It usually nets me 1-2 ko's per match. Basically I come in and mean look then perish song. Protect twice, then switch. Taunt is to stop phazers and set uppers. I might switch it to something like Pain Split though.

Rotom-S @ Leftovers
Modest Levitate
252 HP/216 Speed/40 SpAtk
Thunder Wave
Confuse Ray
Air Slash
Shadow Ball

No it's not the normal Rotom-A. I love this set because it truly is annoying. I took Thunder WAve over discharge because I'd rather have the guaranteed Paralysis. Between THunder Wave and Confuse Ray it leaves a 37.5% chance to attack, which I can hopefully eliminate with Air Slash flinches.

Drifblim @ Leftovers
Calm Aftermath
252 SpDef/176 Speed/40 HP
Substitute
Baton Pass
Hypnosis
Calm Mind

This was a hard choice, between this and Spiritomb. I've tried both and so far Drifblim has been better, but I'm still willing to switch. Basically I use hypnosis. Throw up a sub. Try to Calm Mind once or twice, then pass, usually to Gengar. If Gengar can get the boost, he starts to tear through teams.

So yeah, mono ghost isn't the greatest, but any suggestions are welcomed.

Possibly switch Drifblim's ability to Unburden and give it one of the pinch berries? With Substitute, you can activate the berry, which activates Unburden, allowing you to almost certainly outspeed when you pass and pass along the berry's bonus to whatever you pass to. Just an idea.

Im not a big fan of hypnosis and its low acc. Consider will-o-wisp since a lot of your team has low defense.
