Okay so I enjoy mono type teams, I think they're neat. So I'm going to make a mono type team for each type. I only have 3 rules.

1. Each pokemon on the team must have the specified type
2. No legendaries (jury's still out on Wobuffet's eligibility for a psychic team due to his uber classification)
3. Each pokemon can only be used once. As in, Charizard may be on the fire team or the flying team, but not both.

So I'm going to start with one of my favorite types, ghost.

Gengar @ Chioce Scarf
Timid Levitate
4 Def/252 SpAtk/252 Speed
Trick
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball

My lead Gengar. I originally had hypnosis instead of Trick, but I was getting a little frustrated by Hypnosis's accuracy. So I switched to trick. This way I can lock my opponent into an attack and learn a little more possibly. The other three moves are for later in the game when Gengar has to do more damae with his massive SpAtk score.

Drifblim @ Leftovers
Calm Aftermath
80 HP/252 SpD/176 Speed
Substitute
Baton Pass
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball

I have this come in alot of times after Gengar when Gengar forces switches from trick. Then it's usually capable of setting up. Drifblim can throw up 101 Substitutes to hide behind, along with it's great typing to stall while it calm mind's. Then baton PAss hopefully a sub and CM's to one of my other pokemon.

Banette @ Leftovers
Adamant Frisk
252 HP/252 Atk/4 Speed
Shadow Claw
Thunder Wave
Will-O-Wisp
Knock Off

Banette scouts and cripples for me. Frisk lets me see what they're holding, and then I can knock it off. It has double status to cripple things (especially physical attackers) and to hopefully help a little with Banette's speed problem. Then Shadow Claw for decent stab and critical chance

Mismagius @ Leftovers
Timid Levitate
160 HP/128 SpAtk/ 220 Speed
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Will-O-Wisp

My special version of Banette. Mismagius gives up knock off, for better type coverage in Thunderbolt. Along with slightly better stats and an extra immunity. Between the two, my opponent gets to learn about status effects really well.

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Careful Pressure
252 HP/140 Atk/116 SpDef
Sucker Punch
Pursuit
Pain Split
Will-O-Wisp

Spiritomb, the rich man's sableye. I like this spiritomb, but it was more set up to be a lead. Should I switch this to lead for Gengar, or I was also thinking about switching Spiritomb to a Special Attacker/Sweeper set. Right now Sipritomb is a revenge/Psychic killer. 2 Dark + stab moves that hit annoying pokemon even harder. This can own a pokemon like Azelf. And Sucker Punch takes care of speed problems. Will-O-Wisp takes care of physical attackers and Pain Split for "healing". So should I keep this or switch to A more offensive Spiritomb?

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Adamant Pressure
252 HP/232 Atk/24 Def
Substitute
Focus Punch
Sucker Punch
Fire Punch

My physical sweeper. Dusknoir has amazing Defenses and typing which allows him to come in easily. tHen after setting up a sub, Focus punch away, which helps immensly against Dark-types. Sucker Punch vs. Shadow Sneak was tough, but Sucker Punch ended up giving more even with stab, and I don't mind a little risk. Fire Punch is for extra coverage and can occasionally OHKO a Heracross, which can feed on some Ghost types. Ice Punch was also considered to take on Salamence, and I may change it to that if it's deemed necesary.

Okay so here's my Ghost team. Any changes, comments, concerns etc are appreciated.

Well, Spiritomb is the only way you can cover your weaknesses (unless you want to use Sableye too), so I guess that's taken care of. However, I would recommend any of the Rotom appliances over Banette since they're bulky.

I've used that Spiritomb set before, and it works EXCELLENTLY as a lead. However, with so many Trick users running around, I'd leave Gengar as your lead, and use a different Spiritomb set. However, you could always leave it as it is. It can work even if it doesn't lead.

The choices are solid. I just don't like Banette. The team as a whole looks good. Nice bulk, good power, even have some status with Mismagius there. If only you could somehow get Stealth Rock on there; NO ONE would be getting rid of those :p

There's always Spikes on a Froslass, but I have no idea where Froslass would go.. over Banette, maybe?

Ah I completely forgot rotom! I'll have to look into using him. I haven't actually tried the other spiritomb set so I'll experiment. Hmm I don't think any ghosts learn entry hazards that would be great. Thanks for the help.
