LaRousse City, Hoenn; 6 years after the Deoxys Incident. LaRousse remains the festive attraction of the region, harboring it's ever-toiling block-bots and Battle Tower, walkways continuing to rotor on in loyal devotion to their fair city. Tory Lund, now 16, has devoted much of his time to looking into his father's studies, who died two years prior. While looking through some of his father's files one day, he discovers references to an incident involving a rogue pokemon that killed many people, which was broadcasted as the adverse effects of advanced exposure to Psychic-type moves that ultimately drove it mad and killed several people, including it's trainer. Having known said trainer, Tory begins to dig a little more, and finds out that his father had found proof that the pokemon had large traces of unknown elements in it's bloodstream, which could have provoked it's rage. When he tries to dig deeper, all he can find are empty files, which appear to have been purged by an outside entity. Furthermore, the last file--a folder ominously named "LeRousse: In Danger?"--to have been created mere days before his father's death. Now convinced that his father was not only killed but on the heels of something big, Tory calls his best friend up to his house--who will be you--and shows the situation, eventually convincing him/her that action must be taken in some form or another. Before that particular course of action can be pursued, however, LeRousse is suddenly hit with a wide-scale blackout, explosions breaking off the monorails--the only ways in or out of the city and off the island--believed to have been caused by terrorists. The authorities of LeRousse believe the city is under attack.
They're right...but how they think. In fact, if it was terrorists, everyone might be a bit better off.
LeRousse becomes a field of slaughter, still walkways and block-bots painted with red across every angle imaginable, the once proud city of the future a scene of satanic macabre. It takes a while for the two to find out, since they're way up in Tory's father's estate, but once they discover what's causing all the bloodshed, they wish they hadn't. The city is under attack. See, what Professor Lund didn't know was that underneath the good Professor's laboratory, there were some things going on that may not be in man's best interest...and that the person in charge may not be in the most sane state of mind.
LeRousse is dead. Everyone in the city is being butchered, dragged away...and transformed. There's a whole new breed of pokemon virus loose in the future city's streets...and it's not going to stop until every last person on that island is dead.
But it's not going to stop there.
I need a literate, descriptive writer much like myself to help me out with this. I'm going to be Tory; I'll need you to be his friend. Literacy is very important, since pokemon horror can only really be good if the players are, too. The fate of the world could rely on it, not to mention the story.
Can you get out of LeRousse alive?
