Just wanted to introduce myself. I hope to be sticking around for a bit, so getting to meet people is probably a good way to start.

I'm mostly joining Bulbagarden as a means to meet people for trades. I am not by any stretch of the imagination pro or hardcore or anything - I'd someday like to complete a dex, but I'm in no hurry to do so. I do like breeding though, so God knows I'll probably end up trying to do more than just come up with a new monster to play with - egg move chaining, or shiny breeding, or something. Who knows :D

Although... I just did the math, and unless I research the RNG method, it'll take me like 1420 eggs just to have a roughly 50% probability of having a single shiny... but probability working the way it does, and knowing my luck, it'll prolly be more like twenty-thousand before I get my first. Yeah... not touching that any time soon.

I own Pearl, SoulSilver and FireRed, although Pearl is currently missing in action and FireRed's battery is on the fritz, so I pretty much just have SS. I hope to pick up Platinum soon. I really miss some of the Gen IV buggers I had on Pearl :D

Welcome to the forums, and we have similar goals around the game.

I also like trading and breeding pokemon, and currently, only have soul silver for that.
