I was just thinking back on some episodes of the Pokémon anime, as well as movies, and decided to make this topic to see what everyone's was x3

What are the most heart-warming/tear-jerking moments in the animé, for you?

Mine would have to be in Pikachu's Goodbye. Ending of that episode made me cry manly tears.

And of course, Ash's stoned sequence in the first movie when all the Pokémon start crying and just before when Pikachu is like D:

x3 So whats yours?

Shinji Miyazaki's music in the first movie. "Inochi aru mono" really gets me to tears. Not to mention the short movie with Ai and little Myuutsu. *sniff*

Goodbye Dokucale. When Musashi smashes the Poké ball... ;__;

"I have to go."

"Why!?"

"I don't know. But it's alright. Thank you for caring about me. And don't cry, Mewtwo! You should be happy! You're alive, and life is wonderful!"

Don't think anything else comes close to that special to me.

Pikachu's goodbye episode. I remember crying when I was young. I liked Pika.

Also Gotta Catch ya later. Misty's goodbye was also a tearjerker.

When Gliscor left as we could no longer see the chemistry between it and Piplup. The animé separations are always hard to watch.

Obviously after Dawn beat Ursula for the third time, as we saw how upset Ursula was for losing again. She's clearly a big softie at heart and seeing her emotions like this was upsetting.

For me there are a few. Pikachu's Goodbye, along with Gotta Catch Ya Later and the Dustox release episode all spring to mind, along with others. But I must say the final scene of DP177 was incredibly heartwarming to me.

No matter how many times I watch that scene, it always makes me cry. Nothing else from this show has really affected me the way that moment did.

The last minutes of Sayounara Dokucale!!, definitely. With Musashi and this other guy standing there at the bus stop, I thought I was dying when they were about to play Kaze to Issho ni. It's the only moment in Pokemon which made me really cry, while I have to admit that I was slightly more touched about Musashi's story than the actual Dokucale thing. But yeah, having Kaze to Issho ni playing at exactly the right time made it absolutely perfect and one of the best scenes in Pokemon history ever, in my opinion :p

Not to forget about Ai and young Mewtwo of cource. That scene's just epic.

I would also say this scene was a huge tear jerker. Made me shed a tear. There a a few other, they seem to be very similar to other peoples moments.

I would add that I was a moved at the end of Movie 10 when Darkrai 'died'. And also when Ash and the gang were all upset.

Every time a Pokemon leaves the group (like Ash's Butterfree and Dawn's Ambipom). Also, the Team Rocket break-up episodes.

Every last good-bye -insert pokemon- episode and anything that involved a new shipping to be created.

Obviously one of the last scenes in the unbeatable lightness of seeing!where Haruka and Shuu have their last on-screen conversation.

When Lucario "died" in Movie 8,I always cry at that part like when Simba sees Mufasa death corpse in the lion king T_T

When Ash left Charizard in the Charific valley; And Charizard Chills, the whole thing.

Pikachu's Goodbye
When mew "Dies" in that pokemon mirage special
Gotta catch 'em all
And when ash turns to stone in the first movie.
