In Pokémon, there are lots of different moves used by different Pokémon. Every week, we shall focus the discussion on a different move, and there will be some base questions that would help you start this off. This week, Thunder Shock is chosen.

Continuing from the past two weeks of weak attacks, it's the Electric version introduced in Generation 1. This was most well-known on Pikachu, if you start out with Pikachu. It's a good thing there aren't Ground-types too soon, because that's all Pikachu could use for the time being. It's a weak attack available for several Electric-types, as a starting move for most. It's a good attack to use until you get stronger ones, so it has a good purpose.

A jolt of electricity crashes down on the target to inflict damage. This may also leave the target with paralysis.

  • Could this move realistically be used by any Pokémon who doesn't learn it normally? If yes, please explain your choices.
