In Platinum they introduced a new system of tutoring, where you could buy moves repeatedly with the right shards.
Assuming this system (or something like it) is kept, what moves would you like to see available, for what Pokemon, and why??

I'd personally like to see some older moves like Bubblebeam and Razor Wind become more available to a greater variety of Pokemon. Also, Pokemon that lost moves from older generations (like Suicine and Curse) could regain them.

More than likely we'll have a Headbutt and Whirlpool move tutor unless they change the TM/HM system.

They're free to change HMs, since they're not tradeable.

My guess is Whirlpool being a HM, as in the original. Especially that they have Defog and Rock Climb which weren't in the original and have fair chance of being unused.

Well IIRC, FireRed and LeafGreen had HM08 programmed into the game as Dive (as well as a bunch of Key Items from Ruby and Sapphire). They could've removed or changed it but they didn't (even though they're untradeable).

At least Headbutt is likely to be a move tutor move. Probably the guy that gave the TM in GSC will just be the move tutor.

I hope they add j headbutt as a move tutor move. And if I recall correctly, wasn't there a lady who gave you a sweet scent TM?

It would make sense to have all the moves that are no longer TMs since Gen II be tutor moves.

i think rock smash and flash (ugh) will replace rock climb and defog, makinng them Tms or movee tutor moves. Also, you have to have headbutt, or add abunch of new headbutt learning pokemon.

Rock Smash is already an HM. I reckon Defog will go and we'll just use Flash for Dark Cave/Whirl Islands.
Mayeb you're right though, and some Johto Pokemon i.e. Entei like we've seen, will learn Headbutt by level-up.
