Moves main characters' pokemon should have

Just say which moves you think the main cast's pokemon should (or shouldn't) have according to you.

Like I think it would be cool if Ash's sceptile had Frenzy plant. Or his pikachu signal beam. Or his donphan Ice shard etc. etc.
 
I think monferno (probably will later on) get Mach Punch.

Grotle should get leaf storm and if buizel learned rain dance, then it would be like it was in veilstone gym most likley.

Piplup should gt drill peck over peck or hydro pump (hmm, a huge jet of water coming out of something that small? be interesting)

Buneary should get charm (does it know charm?) it might be interesting to see how pikachu would react if buneary used charm on it or something. Be a good contest move on it.
 
Piplup should get SOMETHING. Anything.

And Staraptor should get an indirect attack, like hyper beam.
 
There's really not much they can do with Piplup since it chose not to evolve.

Aside from Bubblebeam/Whirlpool...it does have Peck and Bide but hardly uses them anymore.

Forget Charm, let the bunny learn Attract and go crazy trying to hit Pika with it, in the process hitting all the other main character's Pokémon confirming their gender and finally hitting Pika and enjoy a few seconds of Pika love only to have Pika snap out of it after a second... and then it'll try to hit it again and the poor mouse will have to run away until the crazy bunny relax

You jsut reminded me of the awesome cool combination they did in that MD of Whirlpool/Energy Ball/ and... what was it? Fire Spin or Flamethrower?
I hope I got all the attacks right, but whatever it was - they should do it sometime again in the regular show
 
Ash's Buizel should learn either Ice Punch or Ice Fang. I'm tired of only seeing Ice Beam as an ice move.
 
Buizel needs an ice move of its own to use Ice Aqua Jet rather than depend on its opponent to freeze it for him. And, Monferno needs a strong fighting move.

Have Meowth learn SOMETHING. Especially considering the "he can't learn Pay Day because he learned to talk instead" excuse doesn't wash any more. Granted, for him to actually LEARN Pay Day would break the show since they'd now have money. But something, come on!

Didn't he say he was trying to learn night slash (or something, no idea of the name) in DP 103?

Pochama needs to learn something, please God! If I have to see it using this same old moveset until Gen 5... I don't know what I'll do with myself!

Also, that one screen hog whats-his-face Piplup needs to learn a new damn move. I know his movepool is supposed to suck but spamming bubblebeam on a deity is one of the stupidest things ever.

I agree.
If anything, I imagine him learning a joke move, though. I agree with a suggestion in the past someone mentioned to me that he could learn Attract. It could potentially be hilarious. Or, considering his scheming side, I could see him learning Nasty Plot...and realizing he doesn't know any special type moves.

Back when D/P started, the Electivire/Elekid fights used Protect to the point I assumed Pikachu would learn Feint. I still think it could be an interesting choice for him or Monferno, considering how strong Protect is in the show. Or it could learn Dig and finally have a weapon for other electric types.

I also agree with Ice Punch for Buizel and a strong fighting one for Monferno [Brick Break? Focus Blast?]. I also think it's high time Ash used one of the biggest advantages of his training method; BIG returns on Return [pun intended].
 
I always thought of Pay day money to be like leprechaun gold - shiny for a few hours, then disappears.

I think it would be hilarious if Nyarth learned a valuable stat boosting move that would have no use to it.

I would like to attach better moves to Hayashigame just because they seem a bit bland.
 
Maybe the writers would have Meowth try to use Nasty Plot on Yanmega or something.

Or take it literally, and have a nasty-ass plot involving the boss and some....lubes.

But in all seriousness, I'd like to see seviper learn Posion Fang. At least,w e won't have to see it use generic Bite attack like Carnivine does.
