Destiny Bond -Decidueye and Delphox, thought about it reallly long.

Both Pokemon with 75 defense stats, both would need it and no starter got it till now.

The same goes for Circle Throw and our fighting type starters and our wrestler motive Incineroar that I though should have got it.

Trop Kick and Decidueye, also a missed oportunity of letting it through breeding.

No... Trop Kick Hitmonlee.

Fly for decidueye. This has to be my favorite flying type move and currently at my current place in the game I haven't found many. And for some reason despite being flying type for two forms it cannot learn fly. Heck more offensive type flying moves would be nice. Sure it doesn't get STAB from them but it does manage that type coverage. Unfortunately the strongest one it learns level up is brave bird which has recoil, and it can be taught sky attack but that has a limit of 8 at the most, thus doesn't allow it to be used much on routes. Not that that matters since its unavailable until post game.

So yeah more flying type offensive moves would be nice....

I know this has probably been said elsewhere, but why in bloody hell did Incineroar not get Sucker Punch!? It's the Heel Pokemon, and a sucker punch would be right up a heel's alley. Yeah, sure, I know that Sucker Punch's "real" name is Surprise Attack, but it still fits, as a heel wouldn't be above surprise attacks. Plus it would feed off of Incineroar's Dark type and high Attack, making it pretty potent, and it would help with its low Speed issue. Really, I'm surprised at that.

It’s even more surprising since Decidueye gets it and the move fits Incineroar better than Decidueye.

Popplio without Bubble is weird, since it's almost always shown with a bubble. It does know bubblebeam, but that's multiple bubbles and not a single bubble.

The first thing that comes to mind for me isn't exactly a "move", but...why does Flygon still not have Sand Stream? It's been referenced as being able to stir up sandstorms by flapping its wings since the days of Ruby & Sapphire!

I think they missed a huge opportunity given all the other Pokémon that got access to weather abilities in Gen VII - Pelipper, Gigalith, Alolan Ninetales, etc.

I've always found it odd that Alolan Vulpix/Ninetales can't learn Water Pulse, since most non-Water Ice Pokemon get the move. Yet they can learn Aqua Tail, despite having very low Attack stat.

Delphox and teleport, Z-teleport would be a nice recovery option if you can use it multiple times.

Reflect also should be a real option taking its 72 defense stats.
It only gets light screen.

not that surprising, they wanted to make it strong against psychic and other ghosts in some way.
Incineroar does already have fire and dark stab moves against deci, but maybe they dont wanted that a starter would be to op against a other? but on the other hand if both use it then Deci still would hit first?

weird. or maybe they have future plans for other pokes and didnt wanted to overpower one to much?

First Impresion? why only one pokemon if we have more slow bugs like Vikavolt and others?
even would be good for a non bug like Chesnaught, Sammuotr taking how slow they are and that pinmissile isnt enough in some situations. Other starters also get acces to good priority moves.

Hey I understand your point, but let me make you aware that farfetch'd also gets first impression as a move. It's nice if you get an extra crit on it from the stick item

edit: But also heracross/pinsir/scyther would love first impression

what about Arbok getting Shadow Sneak , astonish and Lick?
It has glare to paralyze early.
It has a good long enough toung for that and would need some priority usage after so many generations?
Its a physical attacker with dragon tail but why not give it a special oriented dragon attack like Dragon Breath or something in that matter?
