Movie 10 DVD announced: DVD to be released in Japan Dec. 21

The DVD release date and cover of the 10th Pokémon movie, [[bp:Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai|Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai]], was revealed today. The DVD will be released in Japan Dec. 21 for ¥4179.

Not an unexpected move, as far as I'm concerned. I know there were people wishing it'd be a theatrical release, so that we might have a similar event to Japan's for Darkrai, but the way Pokemon movies have been going, I didn't think it'd ever get in theatres.
 
Uh, you should've read the news article more carefully. That's the DVD release for Japan.
I guess I should add "Japan" to the tag line.

But still, your statement seems true. I doubt that they would release movie 10 in theatres outside of Japan (and South Korea?). They haven't done that for years. And the end-of-December DVD release date for Japan isn't unexpected either.

Nice boxart there. As for special features, if it's got concept art, I'm wanting scans right away :)

This probably places our release at mid-Feburary at the earliest unless PUSA decides to pleasantly surprise us...

Quite a number of us don't. lol I know very little, not enough. But I want to see it, subbed or dubbed or not. Because this just has to be the best one so far! I'll do practically anything for it.
 
Ah, good to hear. Can't wait to possibly order it myself and watch it then.

GREAT boxart... I love Darkrai's pose, and where Ash and Dawn were placed at, as well as Dialga and Palkia charging up their signature moves in the back.
 
I can't wait until it comes out in english. I heard that there is a scene where Ash reaches for Dawn's hand. Is that true? I hope it is.

I wish it would come to the US that quick.
 
The US Movie releases have no set pattern anymore it seems.

Deoxys came out very quickly, while Lucario took over a year, and then Manaphy was almost a half a year.
 
With new distributers, we do not know exactly how the pattern will be.
