I recently just found these on Amazon.com.

2008 D-T-V Novelization (Pokemon) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the novel of the movie which is due out in April 2008. Which means that the movie will probably be released around then.

Pokémon: Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai (Paperback)
The author of this is Viz, which means it is the manga. This also proves that the title of the movie is the same as the Japanese.
This is due out on August 5, 2008.

I also found this!
Pokémon: Ranger and the Temple of the Sea (Paperback)
This is the Movie 9 manga (It says it is in the description), which is due out on June 3, 2008.

They're releasing Movie Mangas now?

Sweet, I commend PUSA and Viz on doing this.

Those are some good finds!

It really seems like PUSA (and Viz apparently) are trying to promote the franchise again. A Movie 9 manga adaption being released in the U.S? Was this done for any of the previous movies here?

April 2008 being when Movie 10 comes out here seems reasonable enough.

Oh, wow! You serious? Go PUSA! It'll be nice to buy these things at home from now on, importing can get real annoying.

Whoa. o.o That's so exciting! Excellent job finding these, Pokeyug! You deserve a pat on the back. I hope this means we can expect even more Pokémon manga in the future.

Also, it's cool that Tracey West still writes those novelizations. I used to love them as a little kid.

This is another great move by PUSA.

Scott, I don't know about the mangas but they've done some novels before; I remember my friend having a novelization of Mewtwo Returns

This is the direction I'd like PUSA to move in, getting us stuff that we'd rarely get while 4kids ran things.

Maybe, just maybe we'll have DVDs with the original soundtrack and Japanese version as well. But that's a long shot, if it ever happens.

Thinking about this more, not to be a naysayer (!!!), but what if these are typical Amazon rumours?

I don't think that this kind of stuff has been released in the English language since the movies were in theatres. It's still an extremely long shot, but it does give a tiny bit more hope for a movie release of Diaruga vs. Parukia vs. Darkrai.

It's so awesome that they're keeping the same name!

And Habunake, I was wondering about that but I'd say that the fact there is actually artwork for the novelization means that it's more likely than not.

I'd like to say this news could point to the movie being released in theatres, but at this point I'm pretty much doubting it. If the novel comes out around April, then the movie should be relased around that time. That would mean about only four months to promote the movies to theatres which isn't alot of time.

Anyway, great find, I'll probably pick it up when it comes out.

I agree that this means the movie might be in theaters since they never promoted the movies this big since it was still released by Warner Bros in theaters!

Man, we can only hope. But many have pointed out how unlikely it is and the risks that would be taken. Still, I'm holding on for some kind of miracle.

That's a strange coincidence for me. I actually own the 4 volumes of the Pokemon The First Movie, comic book adaptation. And I was just looking at those the other night.

Interesting to find out about Viz adapting and releasing a Manga for the 10th movie.

It would be awesome if this does mean the 10th movie is coming to theathers!! ^_^

Although, I'll be hoping for a wide release this time. Not a stupid, limited release like Miramax did for movies 4 and 5....

Anyone know if there's a possibility of these coming to Barnes & Nobles/Borders by any chance? These seem to be the perfect way to waste my one-year old gift cards on.

Good for ya, Americans.

I'll never see that, though (unless someone scans it).

But it's good to see that Viz still releases Pokemon manga.

And this also quite confirms american title of Movie 10 (unless it's tentative, or Manga version has a different title).

Or maybe it's just a rumor. The recent Ginga situation have taught me NOT to believe in unconfirmed things.
