Movie 12 merchandise ad surfaces: 'Pokémon A,' Heatran listed on advertisement

All About Pokémon Figure has reported that merchandise advertisements for the next Pokémon movie, iTo the Conquering of Space-Time/i, includes another mysterious 'Pokémon A' similar to merchandise last year that was later revealed to be Shaymin's Sky Forme.

Pokémon A is quite obviously Arceus, or else the latter wouldn't be featured in the merchandise at all.

Arceus is to Shaymin as Heatran is to Regigigas, which is as Notched-Ear Pichu is to Origin Forme Giratina. I would not at all be surprised if we heard news of a "Pokémon B" around March. If that happened, fans would be inclined to treat it as a Generation V Pokémon, despite having been proven wrong about just that in regard to three similar occasions. Then a new Generation IV game would be announced in May (the remakes), which would serve to explain how Notched-Ear Pichu is going to figure into the game universe (much like Platinum explained Origin Forme last year). Finally, Pokémon B - the Sky Forme of this movie - would be unveiled in June, and would follow whatever scheme of new critters we can expect from the eventual game.

So your saying a pokemon b would be not a 5th revealment but a pokemon change cause its in the gs remake? Ill take that any day.

That sounds plausible to me and I do not think there can be any doubt about the identity of Pokemon A (obvious much?). Although I do wonder how exactly the notch eared Pichu will be implemented/treated, if it does indeed make it into the game universe. I hope you are right about Pokemon B being a remake feature, not that I would necessarily mind a Gen V feature either however unlikely.

I still say that Pokemon B is probably just a differently-colored Arceus. The last four reveals should have taught us to never expect anything truly new in these movies again.

We weren't supposed to know about Arceus anyway. The only reason we found out was because some people hacked the game and found him.

People have been doing that since Mew, though. So it's not like Nintendo doesn't know it happens. They just like to continue to pretend it doesn't. In fact, I remembered reporters directly telling Sugimori that players were able to find out information on Mew and Celebi long before Nintendo officially announced them. So I'm not sure why Nintendo continues to pretend that event Pokemon don't exist until the movie. You don't even have to be an internet-savvy teen to get access to the information since it's also published in unofficial guides and related articles sold for kids.
