Movie 6 announced for UK release

So the UK strategy is to keep going in order but two years behind?

Well, it means I get to see this one so I'm not complaining. Though speeding up the releases of the next two would be nice.
 
I feel sorry you guys are getting it so late, Movie 6 is awesome IMO.

But I'm sure most people here have seen it regardless.
 
My God....

I seriously thought it'd never get here. Though if I have to wait 4 sodding years just to get the GOOD movie on DVD i'll be pissed off....

I don't know why they don't just release all 3 in one bundle pack. Surely they'd get more from it than not bothering for 2 years and missing out on an annual income from it. Stupid bloody lamers.
 
Wow, the UK is way behind. I feel sorry for you guys because you have to wait so long!

Seriously, how old are you, psyhically or mentally? I really bet if any Ukers said "haha american losers, we've got chronicles airing here first and the dvds, lolz.., i bet ya jealous, losers" or something to that effect, you wouldn't like it in the slightest even if it was just Chronicles (hey I liked it, but a lot don't like the way it was dubbed).

Why am I even wasting my time, ah well.

So by 2010 we'll have the Lucario movie ey, hmm.. what do you think people, should I just import the US version ^_^
 
Well, if the 6th movie is going to continue the tradition of our releases being in Widescreen, I'd consider it worth the wait to see the movie properly instead of the full screen nonsense the Americans have set the movies up as.
 
I don't have a widescreen TV or monitor so I don't have an issue with that.

Plus I'd really like to see the Mirage special - Take 2, hence the reason why I haven't bothered getting the Australian DVD. Though come to think of it I'll probably hear all the new voices via Youtube before this is released. Meh $13.99 (excluding packaging) for the movie and special, can't complain :D

Whether you have a Widescreen TV or Monitor doesn't matter, changing the aspect from the Japanese Widescreen to the American full screen leaves the movie looking out of whack. Keeping it widescreen means that everything looks as originally intended, and not as a stretched piece of ugliness.

Gotta Dance, which is the short that meant to be on the 6th Movie disc, for one thing, looks absolutely horrid in full screen.
 
Compressed (dimensionally!) and/or cropped.

Some of the anime being broadcast here seem to have been somewhat compressed from the original aspect ratio... circles that do not look like circles...

Widescreen TV or no widescreen TV, it just doesn't bother me lol. I already have the screenshots from all the movies. I'm not picky about the way I have to watch it either. I do have movies 5 & 7 from the US, and they were ok for me.

Besides, lucky for me the sixth movie is the one missing from my collection anyway. That's only cos it's my least favourite and an Ebay seller cheated me ¬_¬
 
Well i wont say that i am surprised
then again we did get the chronicles dvds before everyone else
(then again im sure that was not all the episodes)
the thing is pusa nintendo or whoever has control of this here now does not seem to care about the UK market anymore
We are also still waiting on the anime the last episode we had was The Scheme team
it really doesnt bother me too much as i have all the movies on tape or dvd and have the 8th in my pc
the only movie that i am missing currently is the 7th movie and the only version i can find of that is the edited kidswb version
(can someone help)
 
Supposably Advanced Battle is continuing on Cartoon Network on Monday, 6pm.. who knows what episodes it'll be but we're all hoping for new ones *fingers crossed*
